Can I ask why you use the dbl cups? An do you bottom feed or top feed seedlings?

Top feedā¦I cut a few holes in the bottom of the inside cup for drainage

On a different forum, Iām growing these guys in my pot socks.
And I already started a batch of like 11 beans.
Donāt worries guys Iām waiting till the 28th to pop mine for this composition. Waiting is the hardest thing to do sometimes.

Just the foot portion. And then I cuffed it down.
I cut down a couple of red Solo cups. Just so I can utilize the rim. I shoved one room down to form a base. I filled the sock. Then inserted another rim for the top to keep it stretched open.
I suspect compaction is going to be an issue.

Hey just to elaborate on the double cup thing, what I do is the inside cup I cut a slit up the side and cut the bottom of the cup off completely. Then I cut the proper drainage holes on the outer cup but it still has the bottom on it. Then when its time for transplant it is WAY easier and less disturbing to the roots cause you just slide the outer cup off and then the inner cup will open up to release the root ball. I save the cups and reuse over and over!

Lets talk germination methods. What do you potheads do?
Supplies:
Soaking dish
Distilled water- 4oz
3% hydrogen peroxide- couple of drops
Biothrive kelp- couple of drops
Aloe water * see below- tablespoon
Keep in a warm place. Soak for about 24 hours. I donāt go much longer than that.
Aloe water recipe: fill glass jar with aloe leaves, Epsom salt, water. Refrigerate.
