Migori Sativa aka Bull-Fighting Strain from Western Kenya

The Migori Sativa originates from a small rural town within the region of Lake Victoria in western Kenya. It was first cultivated by two Bantu communities known as the Luhya and Kuria.

The Luhya are synonymous with bull fighting while the Kuria community started out as pastoralists but later became farmers after settling in Kenya during the 17-18th century. The Kuria are among the first tribes in Western Kenya to grow tobacco. They smoked from a pipe known as ighikwabhe
