Things are getting worse.
It is stupefying to think that there are states which have yet to allow patients legal access to MMJ.

I would like to see people get medically safe forms of opiates if they need it, i.e. medical heroin. People that enroll in these programs never OD. It’s the black-market stuff that causes people to OD.

canada legalized prescription heroin this year but theres been pilot programs going here for a while

Without proper, professional, pain management, the medically safe prescriptions for opioids can lead to many patients developing an addiction to these heavy duty drugs.
To satisfy their addictive cravings after their legitimate prescription runs out, they are compelled to navigate the insidious black markets.

If MMJ were legal in all states, I suspect that many of these desperate patients would be able to obtain some relief from their addiction/pain vicious cycle without dangerous opioids.

Like this guy says he did:

“Medical cannabis is the reason I’m opiate free now,” Evans said. “It really gave me my life back and makes my pain manageable, without inebriating me or forming another dependence.”
