My first grow 🇦🇷

Hello everyone, just found out about this forum thanks to Reddit. I’m a new grower, just on my first batch.
I’m from Argentina, so I hope to show you strains you may have never seen!

To add some info, here we can legally grow plants, with a maximum of 9 in flowering stage. We can also have up to 40 grams on us withouth breaking the law. So it’s pretty easy to start growing.

Selling flowers or anything with thc is still illegal, so you can grow for yourself, buy and sell seeds, but not the final product. It’s just a matter of time we start having dispensaries (I hope so).

In Argentina, the outdoor season is from september (for vegetative) to may (that’s when we are at 12/12).

I planted late, started veg January 25, so I’m right at the end of the job. And the tiny one was a cutting that a friend gave me.

Sativa Predominant NN (5 Weeks ago)

NN means Natalia Natalia, this is like our John/Jane Doe. This means I don’t know the mother neither the father, this seed was given to me by a friend, probably was inside a paraguayan weed brick.

Now this is how the flowers look like now.

This is sort of a landrace, a shame I only had one seed and didn’t know how to do cuttings.

I hope to chop this one in 2 weeks!

Indica/Sativa, Lemon (5 weeks ago)
This one the seed was taken from a bud, it was a good genetic, very citrical.

The buds:

This one is about to be done. I hope to be cutting next tuesday.

And last but not least:

Red Skittlez, by Sur Genetics, an Argentinian bank

This one is 60% Sativa, and is the cutting my friend gave me.
It’s bud are growing into a beautiful deep red, purple flowers.

I did LST on this one. In the other two I did apical (which went good only in one, and then I tried to do it again and fucked up)

Now the flowers.

We are like half the way with this, I’m actually at 30 days of flowering, and the bank says it takes between 55 and 60 days.

Right now we are at really cold climate, with temperature going from 0° to 15° Celsius, so this are going to stay small but with a beautiful colour and hope they get really frosty.

Well, that’s my introduction. Hope I didn’t break any hidden forum rule :joy:

Thanks for reading, and have a goodnight (12.04 AM at Buenos Aires)

Hi guys. This is an update about my first grow. So I have already dried two of my plants and the third one was cut yesterday. It has been a though month. Too many cloudy days, made skittlez really late on trichomes maduration.
I switched jobs and went from working 5 hours daily to 10-11 hours, (I’m a mechanic) so the weed time has really shortened. It’s a shame because this is my true passion.
I have not tested the finished product, I’m letting it fully cure on a dark place, inside a jar.
For my first grow I’m happy though, sitting at a hundred grams between the three plants.

This one is the more corporal, indica feeling of the three. Didn’t manicure it before hanging it, later discovered it was a mistake because is really hard to do it after driying lol

Stuff look good hanging, really snowy.

After trimming!

Now with the sativa one I trimmed before hanging it!

After hanging this one I got my new job, I went one day late and it was a bit overdried. This is the one I really one to try, smells amazing and has a lot of trichomes. Went full white, hoping for a really intense and psychoactive effect.

Now I’m drying the Skittlez in a box, because I can’t go everyday to the place I used before (AKA Grandma’s :joy:)

It’s a shame but this is my first experience. I will find my time and my ways to grow this season. I bought premium seeds. The next grow are going to be a strain called Petroleum, from Sweed Labs. I don’t know if im allowed to post instagram links lol, but if you look them up you can find them easily.

I don’t have any picture of the skittlez but I’ll take some later.

Thanks everyone who read this, and hope the best for all!

Buenos humos hermano latinoamericano!

The other two are from buds I had smoked. One was a Lemonish stuff and the other one a Sativa with a skunky smell.

Later on I’ll do a review of the finished product

Welcome @Jeski
Are a lot of people growing there in Argentina? Are there many local varieties or even native cannabis to your region?
Thanks for being here
