Nicotine Vapes

This is on my cover letter.

Interesting read. Not a smoker or vapor. My old boss would go from cigarettes to vapes and back all the time.
He’d get up to about a pack and a half and switch to vape for his lungs. Two weeks of vaping and he’d go back to cigarettes. His nicotine after vaping would have him initially smoking 3 packs!

I could see it if he was vaping massive amounts of nicotine. If you figure a cigarette is 1mg and you can adjust the amount of nic in your vape you can max it out pretty fast.

Do you mean his “vape level” put him at an equivalent of three packs a day?

Apples and oranges, imho

A car wreck can’t be measured in paper cuts

I was referring to the fact that a cigarette is measurable versus a vape for most people who don’t do all the math.
His nicotine addiction was significantly higher vaping compared to cigarettes. Not arguing a point or comparing just sharing an observation

Did you know vaporized pg was used to sterilize operating rooms? Is that why cigarettes were allowed in maternity wards?

I kid, sort of

Yes it’s very easy to overdo it. If you are vaping 10mg/ml and vaping 5 mls a day you’re at like 50 cigarettes. You need to be very conscious of dose.

Never thought about it since I don’t use it.
I watch people just sucking on them all day. Now I wonder how bad their addiction is!

Well some people use low nicotine because they like the hand to mouth action and some people use high nicotine because they like a kick in the face.

Mine litterly never leaves my hand… Although I did smoke 2 packs a day for 21yrs.

1 cigarette on average has 40mg of Nicotine.
I vape 1.5mg of Nicotine.

so I need to vape 26 ml a day to = 1 cigarette. Whice I actually do daily.
Yip I vape about 30ml a day, that’s also why I make own ejuice.

Mines a little stronger but not by too much. The nicotine, I could do without but the action of smoking, addicted.

For me it’s the feeling of it going into my lungs and out again that brings me satisfaction/Addiction.

Of all the things I could be addicted too, vaping isn’t something I’ll worry about lol

Yes I’m inclined to agree it’s pretty innocuous. I don’t want to get all medical but the carrier chemicals are pretty benign.

Yup. I’ve had many people tell me that vaping is bad for me, I’ll die from it, I’ll get popcorn lung ect ect. I just replied with "I’m sucking back more chemicals from vehicles exhaust, while I’m waiting for the bus … 100% of the same people didn’t wanna talk anymore lol

Well the popcorn lung thing is bullshit.

But yeah, people are curious. Mostly smokers and even they are a hard sell.

Just stay away from things that have diacetyl in it, like butter or cream flavors.

After years and 10000z of flavors I’ve tryed, I just stick with Cappella flavors & still stick with fruit flavors.

Even then the cases of popcorn lung were in factory workers who worked with…diacetyl.

I think I tastes gross anyway.

I like to tell people, when selling them, that you can have 80% of the pleasure and 20% of the risk.

Whether that’s true or not I don’t know but that’s what I say.

All I know is THIS, Cigarettes taste like death, makes me smell horrible

Vaping tastes like fruit & I get compliments that I smell good.

Atleast I’ll die with flavors I like :+1:
