And so it begins. I started soaking 8 NL5 beans tonight. I am still waiting on usps for the donation from @Zion. The tracking shows it moving, but very slowly lol. Here’s to good germ rates and a clean bountiful grow.

So 7 out of cracked. Planted today. I hand cracked the eighth seed and dropped it too. In the dome in the garage keeping warm.

The eighth bean came through so 100 percent germination. These are descendants of the 78 NL5 that came from Holland to BC and have been held tight and preserved over the years.

Second set of leafs out, one slow goer, I had to manually split the cotyledon so the leaves could pop out and did a little damage but she is growing.

@Zion, the tracking says they have arrived at the facility so I’m assuming they are in Canada now. Pots are ready and the seeds will go down upon arrival. Hopefully this week.
