Compost is the bomb. I make vermi compost using my thermal which has kelp neem and everything in it already.
What would you say is the laziest way to approach notill but still get decent results? Iāve been thinking more lately about low effort or more efficient growing methods.
I may have to try thisā¦ great link.
Laziest way would be to buy a good pre mixed soil like kis organics along with an all around fertilizer like down to earth biolive or a really good compost (which i prefer). Then i would setup a tropf blumat setup to keep your soil moisture consistent. Pop the seeds in the forever home and youre pree much on cruize control
No-til Hippie??? Whoa, itās good to hear from you, brotha! Idk if you remember but youāre actually the one that convinced me to go No-Till years back!! Crazy cuz I was just thinking about you yesterday right after I made this account lol. Such a coincidence to see you posting here on the same day I decide to sign up and snoop around haha.
What happened to Growtube, did you guys kick me out?? š„¹ I noticed the growtube server disappeared from my discord one day and sometime later I think I saw mention that dawggo had shut the server down or something? Hope all has been well on your end man. I still appreciate everything you taught me! And you taught me a lot. Iām still learning and running into problems every now and then though. Still learning nonetheless haha
thank you for the link @lotus710
Check out the SIP thread. CrunchBerriesāProbiotic SIP Thread - #200 by BeagleZ
Easiest, most low maintenance method Iāve found with the best results.
Same here, I was already doing KNF, but I still had a bottle feed mentality. And look at me now @lotus710!
Duuuuude i totaly remember you. Didnt i make a silly profile pic for you once too?? Great to see you. The server was deleted and we lost a ton of people. Its called growcord now!
Fuck yeah brooo!! I love it
Yup that was me you made a profile pic for I think I changed it though. Gonna have to search for this Growcord now!
heres the link for ya dude! tell em lotus sent ya<3
Oh man, youāre getting me more excited. I really appreciate the link. I live in southern Colorado and the humidity % is normally in the teens. My compost pile is almost five years old and the same size as when I started, lol.
I grew up in the SE and a compost pile with lots of fresh nitrogen/grass clippings for instance, would get hot fast on itās own. High humidity and steady temps, usually hot, made it go off fast.
Here I canāt even get the tomato seeds to compost. I have tom. plants growing out of the pile at the middle of every season.
Iāve been wondering how to get it back on track. Do you think it might still need some enzymes or something? Or would a pile that tall and more fresh still cook fast/hot enough?
Iām hoping to get the KNF down pretty good so I can get plenty of fpj/ffj to last through winter. Iāve been organic for a long time but Iām still using ProMix and Roots dry nutes.
peace
