Especially the ones that arenât even close to being worth paying for. I mean, CIA I mean AP is still free & thatâs mostly all they regurgitate in the US.
People who feel they are entitled or constantly complain, lazy people, trendy people, jealous people, one uppers, people who involve you in their drama, drunks talking shit.
F-K YesâŠ!
They lure you in with headlines-- you get through 1/2 a paragraph then 'âSorryâNope-- You Gotta Pay us for a monthâs subscription to read ONE story!â⊠and MANY are LEGIT News papers!!
Screw them!
SoâbasicallyâŠabout2/3 of humanityâŠyep, I get ya!
I tend to read AP and the BBC news, as much as possible avoiding âbiasedâ networks.
Oh, they got agendas too. Beebs has become infotainment & propaganda, IMO. AP always was.
News is illegal now I guess.
Bbc = bull, bollox and crap.
Sadly enough, Iâve actually started to get used to the fact that itâs impossible to get unbiased news - unless you count reading all the biased news and personally stripping out the bias and strawman arguments, since both sides are full of shit and the only reporters who get paid anymore are the ones catering to one side or the other. Everyone else gets cancelled.
If you wish to read the news this is what you must do.
It doesnât exist to inform you it exists to sell you stuff.
I have a favourite left wing rag and a favourite right wing rag.
Perhaps so, though it is a different lens than one on this side of the pond and at the least they may add their slant but at least seem to try to report the facts.
i found two sites that present the biases in the news stories pretty well. here. and here. i checked a couple of stories when i first started using them a year ago but havenât since then. i hope theyâre not too biased.
iâve been on a roll catching spam accounts here lately
kinda creepy IMO⊠news selector⊠â
the whole left/right âdivideâ is BS forced upon us, IMO also
Itâs important to have the illusion of choice.
Pet peeve: most people donât even know how to cook rice without instructions.
Rice cookerđworks every time.
Small rant after reading some of your pet peevesâŠ
I worked at a company where the owner, during a bday celebration in the kitchen/breakroom with most of the office employees, made a comment out of nowhere(it was directed at me but had no context to bring up) that he doesnât like gays(âI dont like gaysâ). No one said anything after so he followed it up with âgays make me uncomfortableâ. I broke the silence with a loud guffaw.
After I joined that company I was informed when the owner saw me he would require me to cut my hair as he did all other men who had long hair. I laughed and let them know i would tell him to go fuck himself if he were to.
Apparently he thought I was gay because I have long hair as did most of the other people there that didnât talk to me.
It was clear I made him uncomfortable so I would try to engage conversation as much as possible. Iâm glad I did and that many of his employees are stealing and screwing over the company.
Whoa thereâŠ

Lol he needs to practice more of what he preaches.
Itâs another news aggregator, but this one wants my e-mail address. AllSides doesnât, and specifically provides both biased viewpoints as well as the most neutral they can find. I actually like that sometimes, it helps me get a more comprehensive look at things. Itâs still not actually unbiased news, though. Just makes it easier to navigate the BS.
Why do my garbage bags have a fresh linen scent impregnated into them? Is it supposed to cover up the rotting fish thatâs in the can from last night?
They make my fingers smell like the garbage room odour absorbers.
Iâd rather smell dirty old fish.
