Oh yeah I’m never getting them out of the lid with roots intact. That’s exactly what I’ll be cutting lol.
Yeah it’s a cheap little pump with two lines that always run, with more or less power split equally between them. They have little round cheapo air stones on both lines.
Thanks I stole the idea from Floyds bubble cloner thread. I’m gonna make one like that next.

I have most everything except the foam collars and a bubble stone on hand already. I might build a mini bubble cloner next week. Such a great idea folks. I have 2 plants I kind of want to clone, and damnit if OG isn’t helping me learn hydro anyways.

Zzzzz, but coming along. One dirt clone is kicking everybody’s arse. The other 5 dirt clones doing nothing. Two I pulled right out of the dirt no bumps or anything. They were backups anyway.

3 days and there’s root growth?!?!?
I need to go look at mine lol

They did sit in a cup of water for awhile before I made this thing. I’d have to double check but maybe 5 days in the cup, 8 days total now. Give or take a day.

Saturday I got those cuttings that had been in paper towel for 4 days in a “just the snip” container, then into the quickly cobbled bubble cloner.

The bubble cloner definitely kicks ass. I can tell it sped these up alot, plus I took two cuts of a plant in stretch and added them in. They are fresher cuts and already rooting up. They only spent like a day or 2 in the cup, so 4 -5 days total. Super fast IME.

And a day later, damn!
And the backups…which I guess I can kill now…but I kinda don’t want to. I’m too soft.

Lol I’ve been thinking about methods of shipping clones…bet I could rig one of these up to mail.

Tape, baggies, and small flat rate boxes are your friend.

What does it cost to ship clones or cuttings?
Flat rate box price, about $9
So I take my cuttings, wrap them in damp paper towel, put that into a baggie and tape it as tight as safely possible. Tape that inside the box, then tuck another baggie over the tops. It takes 3-5 days to ship

Actually not too bad if you were sending several at once. Not so much if sending only one. But 5or6 cuttings might be worth it.

Hell, I’ll pay pal somebody 10 bucks for a rare, dank, whatever cutting all day.

Here up in the north the post office sucks and we gotta use puralator to move clones. Shipping on my last 4 clones was about 70 bucks. That 9 bucks is a steal, especially for a proven cut.

@Indoornesian how are those cuts I sent doing?
Only one crunch berry left, and it’s not gonna make it, yellowing out and not rooted. All of the others stood back up from the ruff trip, only to go limp.
I tried to get them thru, but they weren’t on the same page. I’d love to try it again with the crunch berry, if you want?
