it’s raining outside I don’t need one now. If I lived in Arizona I’d run one all the time. If I lived in Florida probably never have one.
It’s the moving air, not the humidity.
it’s the VPD. not either
Vapor Pressure Deficit?
OK…but if you put an 18 inch fan on a freshly cut clone, let me know how that turns out
you are absolutely right. If I had more than a % or two and a 40 mile an hour wind I would absolutely need a dome. Course could just choose a better spot.
Yeah, I’m an idiot who doesn’t know what he’s doing. But in my defense, I did say earlier in this thread that I’m not very smart, so this should come as no surprise. I should really rethink everything I’m doing. Thanks for the suggestion.
you do you buddy whatever works for you is good. but I don’t need a cover because I did not sit mine in that environment
Can confirm the cake cover does improve odds of fresh cuts.
When I only take a couple and it really matters if they live. But when I run 12 idgaf if they all live or not.
I frankly will only keep the strongest 4 to 8 depending on needs
Thanks @Purple-N-Hairy this will be a project for me hopefully soon!!! Much appreciated for the help.
What a well detailed and thorough build guide! This is awesome @Purple-N-Hairy very well done
Recently upgraded to a black bucket and painted the top.
And when I was using it this last winter…the clones would not have made it without the cake top cover.
what size is that tote? how did you do the top? love this design! im gonna do something like this as i need a diy setup for a LOT of clones
What are u using besides the Ro water, anything to help the root growth.
FYI - root growth - might consider a liquid root stimulator as a powder root stimulator might “cloug-up” your aeroponics lines. Dyna-Grow’s - K-L-N is a very good rooting concentration and can get the whole line for $25.00 ( 6 products) a sample pack
Thanks , found it on amazon. Will try it out
glad I could help !!! happy cultivation !
Water only and filtered but not RO. It is pretty soft at about 80 ppm.
