Posting photos online

I am wondering if I should be concerned about posting grow photos if I’m in an illegal State. Any thoughts or facts?

Hey @oleskool830, I’m sure some more tech savvy members will chime in and say how you can do it safely(I think it’s in faq maybe?) But I’m here to give my opinion-

I think 95% of us here are too small to fry. Even if Sessions gets his wish and the feds crack way down on weed, the authorities will be super busy with all the med and rec states before they can even think about hobbyist growers… if you can dig what I’m saying.

I think basic precautions are usually good enough in this day and age.

Disclaimer* i live in Colorado, the first recreationally legal state, so my view may be skewed.
Disclaimer2* i love bud porn and would love to see your garden

Thanks for your candor @Blowingupjake. I agree completely I just needed to hear it from someone respectable so I appreciate it. I’m very cautious and maintain anonymity as far as growing my meds are concerned as i am in Texas. I used to post pics on the old OG and had no problems. About to start my first grow in 2 years and I love the new OG! WILL be posting grow here start to finish. Thanks again brother. One Love

I’m happy to hear that and can t wait to see how your green thumb has held up! Really looking forward to your grow log.

After visiting the coastal region for our honeymoon it’s our goal to move to Corpus. Maybe we can trade cuts in a few years! Ya know, at a neutral location with hats and trench coats on.

Lived in Corpus for years. Have many good friends there. I am in the Hill Country in central TX near Austin. Prettiest part of the state IMO. But it is full of Alt Rt, gun toting, redneck, religious extremists. Other than that, a great place to live!

If Texas every goes Rec those Austin growers are going to take over.

Nothing wrong with gun toting… the rest, well that’s a different story.

Yes sir! There’s smoke up in these hills.

One of the very reasons I chose Discourse as my forum software is that it automatically strips all information from pictures on upload, and it is peer to peer meaning no one between your PC and this forum software. [Kind of assuming it is set up the same as mine]

Thank you sir! You answered all my questions. I’m still learning how to peruse the site for answers and info. Your reply is appreciated!

Thanks @LED_Seedz. I used a forum software before but didn’t like it. I will check Discourse. Not familiar.
