Power outage in flower

So I’m wondering if it is worse to open my tent during the dark period to let air circulate, or leave it closed and hope the humidity doesn’t go way up? Doubt the power will be out for a super long time but I’m paranoid about mold.

Is your ambient humidity lower than in the tent?

I’d risk a small amount of light over mold any day. Block out the windows with aluminum foil or something.

Yes it is.

split the difference, open up the smaller flaps/vent holes
should be fine if the power isnt out for long

I agree, I would risk letting her veg again, at least its not a loss, mold would be a huge loss.

I would open the tent, and if you have a battery operated fan, aim into the tent.

I don’t have a fan sadly but I opened the window up and there’s a decent breeze so I should be OK for airflow.

If you in there with a light at least put a green shirt or cloth over the light man. They sell green lights at grow shops too. Just a tip.

A little reveg is not as bad as mold. It’ll be fine.

All of us had a timer stuck on or left the lights on for a night. The plants need more than one night to convert back to veg. Also mold is a concern above 70% but for a brief time it is not like it will explode overnight. I would open the tent enough to get some fresh air into it with the least amount of light. Otherwise don’t sweat it.

I’m reading this after losing power for 6 days. The main question is how cold are the plants. Mine are cold, so it’s like a refrigerator for them. Everything slows way down with the cold temperature.

Power came on pretty quick but if it were off for any amount of time that would definitely be an issue. Luckily it was pretty warm yesterday but it’s been -20 to -30c pretty regularly lately
