I’ve just chopped yesterday and I’m trying a different drying method than I’m used to… been monitoring temps/RH and I’m not quite able to hit my target RH, and generally I’m seeing swings from 36% to about 72%. Average is about 55%. Temps sitting right at 60F give or take half a degree.
Am I asking for trouble with these RH spikes? I’m trying to avoid using room temperature as summer heat has our place idling around 76-77F. In the past I’ve been using big paper lawn bags to do the drying but it’s gone a bit too fast for my liking and I was losing a lot of aroma during the process. Thanks for any insight!
