I took down the PDB last friday. The pics I took didn’t turn out too good, but I’ll show em. Got the TK moved into the flower tent. I decided I need to move somewhere pretty far away soon, so I went ahead and did something crazy. I put the grape stomper, tahoe, mendo breath, and a small gelato 33 in the same tote. I wanna grow out as many different things as I can before the move, so I can decide what comes with. Hoping this move makes it possible to do some seed making in the not so distant future.

Things have been going good in the flower tent. Got a few things in veg; might try another mixed bin when I take down the SFV in a few weeks. I’ve been slowing down a bit with the foliar feeds. The results were great, but I’m just a bit too busy right now to keep up with that schedule. I top fed the TK and Mixed bin with 1/3 cup each of comfrey and stinging nettle.

The Purple Dogbud is curing in jars now. just shy of 7 oz of flower and 2.5 oz of trim with lots of popcorn. Smell and taste on the popcorn is pretty good already. I can’t wait to sample some well cured nugs from this one.

The SFV is looking great still, nearing the end of week 7. I had a bad flare up of fungus gnats that got stuck to the fans pretty bad on her. That’s kinda a bummer. She’s sticky as hell and smells great though. Very kushy.

I thinned out the TK pretty heavy. She was crazy thick. Some of the inner fans were getting slimy. Glad I caught it in time. I’m going to have to do another big defol and prune at week 3. She’s got a nice thick layer of leaves over the soil now.

The mixed bin seems to be working out so far. The Grape Stomper is growing the tallest, and the Gelato is not too much shorter. The Tahoe is a little shorter than the Gelato, and the mendo shorter still. So I’m getting a nicely sloping canopy. I didn’t expect the Gelato to stretch quite so much for some reason. it worked out well though.

The Sunset Sherbet solo cup has been drinking almost a half pint every other day. I’ve been feeding her heavily with FFJ and FPJ. So far it seems like it’s working. I’ve been upping the feed slowly but steadily. I’m gonna try to take her to the end on just those and maybe some guano top dress.

Everything’s still doing good in the flower tent.
This is week 10 for the SFV. I’m starting to think I’m gonna take her down at the end of the week. The rest of the girls could probably use the extra room. Im probably gonna make all of the SFV into fresh-chilled bubble hash.
I just hashed most of the PDB over the weekend. That’s drying in my wine chiller now. The dried stuff on the collection spoon melted real nice. The flowers are tasting really nice too. The effects are very nicely balanced. The potency has to be pretty up there. She’s dry but still greasy sticky too. I’m not sure the flavor, while good, is quite strong enough to be a true keeper though. Especially considering the yield isn’t great. We’ll see how the hash turns out before I make the call.

The mixed bin is still very happy looking. Everyone’s frosting up good. So far, I seem to be getting away with this. The TK is still looking good as well. They all got a watering today with the waste water from the bubble hash.

PDB. My phone camera sucks so bad.

Well, sorry for the lack of updates. The PM has been persistent. I don’t want to gross everyone out with the gore in my tent. Gonna let them go a few more weeks and then try to wash the flowers and run everything for bubble hash.
I believe the problem all came from my light going out. The PM showed up right after that. It’s got me dreaming up a system with backup drivers to kick on when the main one starts behaving abnormally. Gonna have to start thinking about battery backup for the new grow too. Power tends to go out a lot more and for a lot longer where I’m headed.

That being said, does anyone have suggestions for washing harvested flower infected with PM? Any good threads to read? Am I stupid for thinking I can wash it off?

I was just wondering how you were doing?

Well, I’m certainly learning a lot! Lots of good things in the works. But, PM fucking sucks!

It definitely does. Sorry your going through it. I’ve been battling it myself

On the up-side, the bubble hash has turned out fucking awesome! The Fresh SFV is so kushy and potent. The yield was terrible, but I don’t care. I’m gonna do it again. The PDB has turned out nicely as well. The flavor is even better in the hash than the flower. I smoked so many 50/50 hash and flower PDB doobies this past weekend. Absolutely divine.
Pictures coming soon. I think I’m gonna be rollin’ everything into temple balls tomorrow after work.

Sounds like a fun evening. That’s great that your enjoying the hash

I’m back at it again after a hiatus. Popped a few beans recently. I’m sure I’ll find some good stuff in these. Thanks to all the OG members for these seeds. @Islayhearts @DougDawson @misterbee

Everyone’s growing good. Maui Mangos are looking ready for a bigger home, and really sucking down the water now. BTxBH and SBs are pushing leaves a little faster. Hoping I can keep everything in solo cups for a few more weeks while I let my new batch of soil cook.

You can definitely see that the TKxBH is growing faster than the Sour Bubble. Pretty cool to see the difference between the hybrid and worked line. Or is the SB just a slow veg anyway?

We have a mutant in the mix! This sour bubble is throwing some crazy leaves. The top growth is just a few wild leaves, no new nodes. Two very asymmetrical side shoots are the only points of new growth.

Well, everything’s still moving along. They all are starting to look a little desperate to move out of the solo cups, especially the Maui Mangos. I topped all 6 of them last night and threw the tops in the cloner. That knocked em back down pretty good. Hopefully it’ll buy me another week or so for the new soil to be done cooking.

The sour bubbles are definitely slowest to grow. They’re staying super compact and seem to be the least effected by their small containers. Not too much variation on them yet, besides the mutant.

The BTxBH are definitely a little more vigorous than the SBs. They’ve got a little more node spacing, and they’re looking a bit more root bound.

The plan is to up-pot them to 1 L square pots and top them once they’re ready. I’ll throw all those cuts into flower and cull my males. Considering keeping a SB male though.
