i know from tracking that one of the members listed above received my gift on 20th december. have not hear from them either. hope they are well doing ok.i have not seen any post from the member for a while now. just wanted to know the porch pirates did not get the gift instead. sent by priority mail.

At this point, the two members that did not send packages to @tresbundles and @Greenup have been messaged 4 days ago. I’m now publically requesting a status update: @PioneerValleyOG (last log 12/17) and @Humboldthippy (last log 12/10).
Please advise if you intend to participate or we move and provide your recipients with gifts, OG style. Please keep in mind, there will be NO future participation if you don’t respond, and/or participate as you had promised to do so.

Hey There @Greenup! I didn’t post ours @Lady.Zandra63 did.She is my better half and to be fair, we signed up as a couple. I believe ours is on post 230 we got some awesome and fun presents from our Secret Santa!

Well, I think that the 5 day mark with zero communication tells us what we need to know, the participants either forgot about the event or just moved on with life.

Ideally, I’d like at least (2) santa’s for each of them, (as to lighten the amount sent by each Secret Santa), but your call peeps, you let me know.

It’s a shame. We have such a nice little community here that I hate to think of our members taking advantage of one another.
I am broke as a joke and I wanted to take part. I was like “Hey, maybe I will send one of my hand carved coconut ashtrays and a couple of stickers”. Then I saw how amazing some of these gifts were and I was thinking Thank God I didn’t sign up! I would have felt so inadequate.
Now I see some people didn’t even have enough respect to send something back? That is not cool guys.

Oh no, I hope nobody feels that way next year! Yes there were some nice gifts exchanged (all of them were nice gifts!) but I’m sure all participants would agree that’s not the point. And anything handmade always carries that extra special gene ! So, assuming it happens next year, I hope you join in.

Yeah I would’ve been stoked for a coconut ashtray and stickers! I’m not too mobile so I usually only send out a bunch of packs for these. I always forget to throw in stickers too, or even a note half the time 
! If my Secret Santa recipient wants some stickers, I can send a card out with a bunch lol ^^

I think that gift would be very much appreciated by most people on here. I know I would love to receive any handmade gift! Spending time on someone is so much more generous than money in my opinion. But I do feel you, I worried for weeks about what to get and wondering if it would stack up to the other gifts. I was very pleasantly surprised to see the recipient of my gift posted a very positive message about how they loved the gift. I would be excited and thankful for any of the gifts I have seen posted in this thread. You should absolutely participate next year.

I agree @Motaco . I figure it like this; the folks who signed up for this had a good enough heart to want to bring some joy to a relative stranger. That speaks to the persons character. I believe those same, good, people would receive a home made gift with a warm feeling. My family exchange home made gifts all the time. Each time I think about the time spent crafting my gift.
You should definitely join in this year.
