@Draig bought me a great piece to add to my necklace- and wrapped that in tons of tape-- then in a bigger box (wrapped) with lots of tape then a 3rd and 4th!!
We once wrapped a pair of new boots for our son in a Nintendo box—
NEVER do that to a kid…he was so upset he wouldn’t open anything else…even once he saw we really DID get the Nintendo!
My Mom got my brother a jumbo bean bag chair- left it in the trunk of the car and wrapped her car keys…poor SOB thought she bought him a car!

I have to preempt this by saying I’ve been sorta down lately, holiday blues sort of thing. And when I got home today I got this AMAZING present in the mail. It really made me happy and totally cheered me up. I haven’t opened anything except a couple of candies (I went to take a shower and when I got back my dog also enjoyed some of the candies lolz). Anyway, I have to run and only took time to post this but I’m really grateful for this community and it’s awesome to have a place to connect with like-minded folks, and this was really special to me so THANK YOU
PS - doggie’s alright, fyi, just a little suger-high

To celebrate the arrival of my new seed fridge… aka Svalbard… Santa sent some great seed preservation/storage containers, silica desiccant, and more…
The book has amazing full color photos. It’s so cool… and it’s even autographed by the author in the inside cover…

My seed fridge and I… we greatly appreciate this. I admit I was so stumped when I saw this huge box all this stuff came in. The Postal clerk said… “Your mail is usually a lot smaller.”
So very, very cool. I am immensely thankful. I really appreciate whoever sent these things. I’m going to great great use out of all this stuff.
