Nice growth indeed! I was sitting here, just now, trying to figure out which strain to run next and, lo and behold, I stumble upon this thread and see how these babies are doing and it seems the decision is made!

Gonna try my luck
With @Mongobongo 's Oregon Huck!

What’s your impression of the Oregon Hucklebery, @Mongobongo? I always wanted it bad and especially if if had a pheno that even gets close to a huckleberry smell. My favorite berry!

I like the idea of 7 foot high berry smelling monsters outside. I have to find a way to pick up some shade cloth this summer. It’s all I’m missing for outside monsters.

I think it will be nice. Outdoors it was big fat colas, bright green and very frosty. With a great berry smell. I didn’t get to smoke any because it was so badly riddled with seeds.

Hey bro. What are the “growing laws” there?

:cowboy_hat_face:

Laws? … :smile_cat:

I think anybody is allowed to grow 6 plants. Med card holders (cost about $120 plus you are in a registry then I suppose) can grow up to 99 plants depending on the doctor and the situation. Lots of people get permission to grow for others and/or a serious medical condition could get your plant count at least doubled to 12.

Not supposed to be able to smell or see outdoor grows, I think. Or, maybe have it in a locked space. As far as I can tell, it’s pretty relaxed as I’ve never heard any harassment stories since I moved here. Large grows going out of state is what they are looking for. And they are pretty good at that. They shut down overly large, illegal grows all the time. They seem to be hell bent on keeping organized crime from benefiting from our laws to do business in another state. All about the tax dollars like liquor now.

I suppose living in a more populated area might bring extra scrutiny from say your neighbors who hate weed. I haven’t ever met anyone like that personally yet. heh. Where I live people really don’t pay any attention to it. It’s what drives our town atm. They’re using all of this tax money to create a different economic base for the future and once pot fades out as more states legalize it.

For the casual user like you and I, there is no pressure from anyone so far. I spend as much money as I can on any nutes or equipment from here in town if I can. I feel like that’s a way of showing my appreciation.

You should run for Mayor! Right on. Damn I hope I can get there before I’m 70.

Maybe y’all could swing up for a visit in the summer. That’s what I did. I came up a few times and it was all over for me. I just really like the people here and the slow life. It’s a great location for high diversity within a 3 hour radius.

It’s funny you mention mayor. A neighbor pulled up as I was getting home from groceries and told me the city clerk was asking about me and said they wanted me to apply for city counsel. heh. We only have 52 people in my little town outside Trinidad. We have a mayor. he smokes. I think the city counsel is brand new. I’m gonna call tomorrow to see if it’s not too late! I’ll fight for your pleasures! Nice motto huh? or, I’ll always light your joint! I’ll be a shoe in!

MN like that everyone is on their own schedule above the twins.

Alright alright alright! The only time I ever got high with a politician was when Kinky Friedman ran for Governor. We’re gonna make that trip when it warms up. I don’t like driving in snow. Obviously I have limited experience. My priority will be meeting up with you for a smoke down and taking the 12 minute tour of the town! Just the thought of it makes me smile.

Yeah man, I’m not far off of the interstate so your time allotment sounds easy to accommodate. I could get you in town and run you through with a quick explanation… 12 min should about do it. Lol.

It’s way too laid back here for anything to happen fast. Businesses may or may not be open. Especially on Tuesday. We call it Trinidad time. :sunglasses:

Sorry if it has already been asked but are these the Oregon huckleberry that dynasty released as a cross to morning Glory ?
Seedfinder has a great day out but tends to miss little details. The dynasty description says several generations inbred , I’m assuming to the huckleberry clone but seedfinder shows it as a first gen cross. Either way I’m grateful to have received some from @Craigson15, great guy right there.

I haven’t looked into it yet. I did a good while back and it seemed like I got confused. heh. It was because of a cross I thought it was involved in. I was always wanting it after I got back into growing 5-6 years ago.
