Sf4000 par test

Hi everyone. I’m trying to figure out my par, height, and intensity settings for my light. I have a spiderfarmer sf4000 in a 4x4. From what I’ve read I want my par to be around 3-400 for veg. I can’t find any resources that give the settings to achieve this. I’m also not 100% sure I even want that low of par for veg. I have used Photone app and have it set to 40% intensity at 30” height to get 350 par. I’m not sure if it’s even accurate or anything. My growth has also seemed to slow down since the change. Anyone with an sf4000, what height and intensity did u use? Thank you

Hi papaNeed did you get any specs. with your sf4000, max current draw and grow space coverage etc?

Yes I did the ppfd charts they give start at 1000 at 22”. Wattage is 450

Ok my light settings for veg are 600 at 16"/18" above the canopy.
It draws 400watts full power, full spectrum QB board, I hope that helps.

Thank you. What do you use for par meter?

I dont use one I just use the manufacturers specs.
I’ve fine tuned it a bit over four grows( not all plants grow the same) and look for leaf bleaching on the upper growth. I raise the light not turn it down.
Hopefully someone with an sf4000 will join in☺

Good info and app. Free.
