Sick plant: What the heck is this

It’s in a cloth pot so checking the roots will be hard along as it’s still growing. He said today the plant wasn’t showing any signs of stress. I’d say it is coming soon tho. Interesting read

I agree 100% with you. I grow all organic…well the best I can. I gather a lot of things to go in my compost and some, like manure may have contamination but I’m close. I much prefer top dressing and teas.

That’s what I figured. It’s all a learning process and I’ve lost many over the years. I hate it for a new grower tho. He does have a couple cuttings I give him and another seed plant from Blue Star going so he’ll be alright. I think the stretch on the 2 ICC x Ancient OG will more than fill his tent

Well
If one does not over water and uses smart pot
And sterilize soil that usually does the trick.
I use foxfarm
Love them, but out west and now here broad mites
Made a showing.
If your get them its curtains for your grow.
As much as I love FF I don’t trust any dirt.
Fabric pots get filled, put in bath tub and have boiling hot water poured over it.
They steam for 20 mins, I mean saok them.
When they cool, water with fish emulsions
Or your preferred Bacto
After that just keep Temps and humidity in range.
The fabric pots are hard to.over water and if they are they just drain the excess.

You said fox farm and felt pots carry mites?!?!?

No
FF can, all dirt can.
FF is from out west and that’s where the broad mites
Problems arose,
If you never dealt with them be glad.
They are so small many folks miss them,
Or attribute problems to other things
And by or if they catch it it’s to late
Honestly it’s to late if you ever get them, there are treatments but skeptical if they work and are harsh
For my tastes, I ain’t smoking that shit after
Those chemicals hit thebplants.
Fabric pots are nearly impossible to over water
If they are on a drainage rack, I mean some
Really dim folks might manage it but the rest of us
Know the deal.
Anything brought in can carry pests though I never bring anything inside from outside.
I’d imagine new pots out of the plastic be fine
But they get the soak treatment whenever I bring more soil in but just cause the dirt
s in them.
