How do you think the high compares when vaping flower vs smoking it?

i think its a bit more clear headed. a joint will wreck me, mentally ability wise turn me into a vegetable.Dunno how but the mighty will knock me to sleep but not stupid.

I have the B1 and it is quite frankly an end game purchase. It is superior in every way to smoking. You can get as big and milky a hit with a “ball vape” as you would with combustion.
Knowing what I do now, I would have built my own. But purchasing a Flowerpot device is not in any way bad. It’s simplicity is in that its all put together for you. (get the 3mm ruby balls instead of the 4mm cannabis hardware likes to include).

As for pets and children, well same precautions as an open flame.
It does take about 10 minutes to warm up, if you were thinking of turning it on and off.

Who are you kidding, there are no “end game purchases” XD

Well there’s, one, your casket after you die.

Yeah I’m building me that pinky one day. I hear there’s more airflow with the 4mm ruby balls and I’ll be going with those when I decide to take the plunge.

What’s your reason for preferring the 3mm’s?

I do wonder what else the future holds for vaping and smoking devices. The past 10 years or so have been a great show to watch so to speak. I remember sitting in my big brother’s couch trying out the vaporizer prototype he bought from a Dutch smartshop and cannabis product development company. I eventually got that vaporizer from him and enjoyed it for a few years. Cops took it eventually sadly. It was nothing compared to what’s available these days, but those days it was some next level shit

3mm help with heat retention on back-to-back hits and it tightens up the draw ever so slightly as an added bonus.

“tightens up the draw” is not a bonus in my book, but good to know.

Verdamper

Got to get me one these someday! :sunglasses:

Honestly. I doubt it. I mean it’s a really good vaporizer for sure, but De Verdamper is way too expensive for what it really is, same with the Volcano for that matter, and the other S&B herb vapes too for all I care.

But that’s coming from someone who rigged up a kinda bunk 100 dollar vape into a fully working vape by switching out the housing and switching up the position of heating element.

In my book, at this point in time and where the world is, best you can do is a Pinky, or a glass pinky (Brain), though I think using boro ground glass connections would perhaps be better because of good fit and conicity helping the balls and screen remain in place.

Again, De Verdamper is a great vape. But the heart of the whole thing is really just a larger, more sensitive to breakage “inside out empty pinky” if you think about it.

Don’t take my word for gospel though, I love a good discussion

I just got a vaporizer, but I miss the nicotine while hitting it. It sure tastes weedy and like vegetables but the high come thru.
I got a portable Flowermate Aura, good for extracts or dried buds and vaping feels healthy.
I just started vaping few days so I am slowly switching from joints to vape, but not the same.
Maybe within a few weeks I end up vaping only who knows?

I do have a bong but it hits like a stone and the smoke is a little harsh, and I don’t even consider the carbon filter as they remove taste and smell.

Vaporizers are the way forward. I smoked bongs with tobacco in it for 20+ years and it was getting to the point where i could barely breath. Tried some cheaper electric vapes and they just didn’t scratch the itch. Bought a dynavap and a sticky brick, because they mimic the ritual of smoking and they changed my life. Even back running. Butane vapes and ball vapes are the only ones that are worth it for old smokers in my opinion. Ball vape and the anvil are my favorites. Expensive, but what price for your health. I can’t stand combustion know. Tastes like shit and so heavy on the lung. Dynavap with a full metal jacket is the cheapest vape that worth it.

I’ve been intrigued by the differences between vaping and smoking cannabis too. It’s interesting how they affect the chemical profile differently. By the way, have you ever tried vaping with the NEXA N20000? It’s been my go-to for a cleaner and more controlled experience.

I don’t like to smoke joints.
I’m allergic to carts.
My solution is just the tiniest hit of hash out of a glass pipe. Minimal combustion.

I agree with @Foreigner in that I don’t like to smoke joints either. For me, the paper is just too much for my old lungs. I do, however, love the social aspect of passing a joint.

I prefer smoking flower in a filtered bong. While I prefer high quality hash to carts and extracts, they’re are okay too. For me, however, nothing else provides the full flower experience.

I might smoke more hash if I grew enough weed to make a significant amount. And if I wasn’t the lazy mf that I am.

Where’s my bong…

If someone is passing around a joint I’ll take a hit or two for:

Politeness
Quality test
Judgement
Not to be left out

I vape and smoke. I don’t enjoy vaping flower but I do like vaping live resin and rosin. Flower can only be combusted or eaten for best experience. People trying to sell $500-1000+ rigs just to vape flower perfectly. If that’s the case then why is there an entire AVB culture? AVB goes into edibles to get high a second time because the vaping was not efficient in releasing all cannabinoids.

Distillate hurts my lungs bad.

Foreigner I think you might dig this - Hash Hammer! I got one a while back and have been loving it. It’s like a deep glass bowl but you never hit the bowl with fire.

There’s this little quartz “wand” that you heat up with a torch. You push that wand into the bowl, twist around, wand heats the hash, you take a hit. It works super well for tiny amounts but also for RIPPERS you can have a dab-level pull.

This is very similar.

Hell yeah, same idea!!! I like the longer wand on this one actually.

It looks pretty cool but I have this aversion to having a blowtorch on my coffee table.
