That one and my butterscotch x Skywalker have been my purple stars of the show finishing up in the next few weeks, just absolutely eye catching colors on them gals. If I had more of the butterscotch ones I’d be all over making a bunch more, that cross has been nothing short of incredible for both plants I’ve grown of it and a fast finisher

My vote’s for the Jack Herer or White Rhino, because they’re IBLs already and should breed fairly true… that, or the Lava Cake, I’ve smoked that and it has some of the best terps I’ve ever come across. I wouldn’t argue with any of them that much though, most any preservation run is a good preservation run in my book.

I’m on the Jack Herer bandwagon as well I think. Ultimately my top strain ever, and I would love to have a mother and/or some pollen around to do my own Jack breeding projects.

Got your votes updated on the original posting, the jack I got from a guy in Cali that did a lil breeding with it, grew his forbidden fruit x Jack herer in my fall garden and it turned out super frosty and really sweet smelling and one of my top smokes, was pretty leafy and was truely unwrapping the buds during the trim process but those sugar leafs were absolutely coated, haven’t grown only the jack though so I’d be going in blind what to expect for sure but that’s part of the fun right?

You have the room to keep the males isolated and pollinate selectively, I assume?

Can you imagine an accidental open pollination of some of these strains?! It would be like trying to find the Wonka Golden Ticket every time you popped a seed!

Doing a few crosses doesn’t sound bad at all… dunno about open pollination, I prefer to know what I’m growing most of the time. Though, of course, most of what I’m growing has at least one or two unknown parents anyway… so hey, what the hell. 
Still, better to do the same thing just with some control, imo.
