So is it the Fertigation Manager Basic you got?
System looks solid on their website.
Yes. The head unit has 4 pumps so each pot gets it’s own. Than an app controls them.so you could literally have 4 different feed solutions being disbursed at different levels to each pot. As I say, I have never tried this so cant say how well it works yet but I got my fingers crossed for no more manual watering.
That’s so much more sciencetronic than my bucket filled with nutes and a airstone with a submerged pump and a multi-time a day timer with seconds intervals!
Looking forward to seeing how this works out bruv!
Yeah, I got a pump and was going to DIY something but this thing just looked like it would do a better job.
Watch the build a soil videos. You can see how to build a watering unit yourself pretty easy. He built some for 5 gallon pots. Simple drip system. Then you can hand feed them to see any problems. Farmers shadow is the best thing for plants.
I have seen several ways to build a diy system, this one I picked up just has way more control. Be nice to say start a new plant and be able to use a second source to water from so each plant has their own feed solution if needed. Nothing wrong with DIY at all, I just liked the control this claims to give you.
Glad to see you got through your initial troubles and are now on a glide path to thousands of seeds!
BOG for all!
I also read somewhere that you are now the official Canadian distributor for the co-op boxes! Congrats on your “promotion”! There are gonna be lots of happy Canadians with @DougDawson at the helm!
Thanks bud, yes I am the new Canadian distributor. Shadey needed to back away to do some things so I figured I could help out. He certainly has some big shoes to fill but I will do my best
I like the one you got. Nothing wrong with streamlining what you are doing, and if it makes life easier. That is why I use as much automation I can to help with a grow.
Some may look for cheaper ways to do a watering system. Always good to see other options. Plus his videos are a great learning tool.
Absolutely. As I say I bought a pump and was going the DIY route, many great setups for it. I just couldn’t resist this one when I saw it. Many use Bluemats and other setups with great success. I am open to any setup that takes some work away, been hand watering for years and it’s time to step up.my setup game
And sometimes stuff that is mass produced winds up costing less than if you bought all the parts and put it together. Just saying.
I agree, companies using tons of a specific part get much better deals ordering in bulk than end users.
Very nice Auto water machine
Nice. I’ll come along for the ride on this one; this is a strain I’ve never even seen for sale, much less had a chance to buy. Most seedbanks seem more interested in selling every polyhybrid cross under the sun than passing on stable breeding strains, not surprisingly…
Yepah i spent summers worpking in thep antarctic then winters working elsewhere usually offshore in the 45°c+ heat of the West Oz oil fields but the worst was equatorial tropics near the phillippines. I will never acclimatise to that disgusting heat
Cold don’t bother us Canadians so much.
All caught up reading the thread. 0 F was decided as it was the coldest he could get to reliably. Keep in mind fresh water freezes at 32 F, but then there is salt water which is about 28 F. So he thought he had a scale that most people can use. He never spent much time on the prairies in winter where -40 is the same in F or C. That is the extent of what I remember (it being a part of a college course I went through). Now back to our previously enjoyed programing. Oh, I picked up the same temp/humidity meters. They are pretty good.
Godspeed little ones, the fate of the BOG growing OG universe rests on your tiny nodes.
I just got my orders in for some of his gear. I’ve been away from the forums for quite some time but I am happy to see everyone keeping his genetics running. Mind if I pull up a seat?
