Spinosad Powder

After going through two $15 bottles of spinosad spray I purchased an $8 puffer full of powder/dust. Trying to apply it was a nightmare. You’re supposed to puff it in an “even layer” over the plant. My girls are big and my hands got tired and there was nothing uniform about the white clumps on the leaves. That’s not going to happen again.

I’m wondering now if I might make a Castile soap, vinegar and water spray with some of the powder mixed in. I have a slight concern that the low concentration might contribute to immunities.

Anybody have any experience adding spinosad dust to water?

No to adding it to water, but I had the same problem “puffing” DE. So I went and bought a cheap flour sifter from Target and used that. Much faster and easier

“No” experience or “no” don’t do it?

Never done it. I use the liquid concentrate spinosad.
