Stong amonia odor alive plants

Was on my grow tent today cleaning and doing some defoliation to put the trellis and notice when cut leaves on some plants , snow lotus and BlackBerry kush have a strong amonia smell coming out when cut the leaves, plant are very green , could be from the amonium nitrate, idk why im asking.to somebody who can elaborate a lil bit, because my tent is now in my room and dont want to release wierd gases when i open it , is sealed with a bag of exhale
