Thumbs down button

I’m also trying to prove a point by being a bit overbearing in the ways I find distasteful. I would much rather just mash the dislike button than elaborate in these ways. Without a dislike button it really becomes who is willing to have the last word or be the loudest, eventually most just bow out or like it’s been suggested they just ignore it from the start and don’t even engage.

I think that leaves the new and more impressionable members at a disadvantage when instead they could be better informed with the help of longtime more respected members. Many blessings and much love

Speaking out just frequently leads to misunderstanding and nit picking explanations, just as often as an emoji would.

Loudest or repetitive?? Because going in circles is pointless… and i just choose to not waste time saying things over and over in different versions… which is typically what youre doing…

Andni dont need an emoli to move forward either lol

If I make a comment that gets 4 likes and someone gets a comment with an opposing viewpoint that gets 10 likes, what does that scenario do? It basically shows dislikes in a passive aggressive manner by the avoidance of a like.

Likes either need to be unlimited or dislikes need to be added as an opinion if they are limited. That’s my opinion. Otherwise they’re the most passive aggressive form of showing disliking something that we have on the website. Many blessings and much love

So we are supposed to verbalize our feelings or stop because some deem it’s a dead horse? I’m confused

If it is too tiring to explain the dislike then maybe not peruse so many threads. I try and focus on stuff i’m interested in only which is a small fraction of the topic on this site.

Well… i can say this…

I seriously doubt joe will go for this anyway… as he can clearly see the discourse it shall provide…

Good luck with your endeavor :metal:

It’s the wanting to avoid going in circles that I advocate a dislike button for. I can mash it and not entertain the shenanigans. But when I keep replying you feel the need to keep replying yeah? It’s human nature.

That’s why the dislike button would be helpful I think. Just look at this thread as an example. It’s a mess. Many blessings and much love

Isnt this a backhanded way of telling someone to stop expressing thier side.

What is your purpose of this topic? That you want to be negative.
Some people might not be able to handle a negative response. It’s like the subway. You got people coming and going. Having a bad day or they are happy. Sometimes the best negative reply is sometimes nothing at all.

I was just reading a thread on Ohaze and saw this. Thought it was a good real world example of how things can get out of hand.

Joe made this a topic

. Just waiting on the wife actually… if you have to know…

I want an " I would jerk off to that" button.
and an " I will kill you and the actor that plays you in the movie about me killing you!" button.
but that is just me.

I didn’t start this topic it was merged from conversation happening in an already started thread.

My points have been made clear. I don’t think I can make them any clearer by restating them. Many blessings and much love
