I thought this was round 3 of Johnny’s auction from all the action sorry wrong thread

I’m genuinely replying with my thoughts feelings and opinions. You’re actually trolling. Interesting choice but whatever. Extra many blessings and much love

I would like to say that @Sbeanonnamellow is an original OG. Longer here than most of us. I have had extensive private conversations with him and find him optimistic and encouraging in all dialogue. That said he is and will be a bit repetitive with his points. Very sincere old school Og. Many blessings and much love, HP

Does him being an original OGer mean his opinion holds any more weight than other members though? Also, if we are giving personal accounts, I personally find him insufferable and ingenuine.

But that is just my opinion and I expect it to sway nobody elses :person_shrugging:

This is my neurological uniqueness, and another reason I would prefer to have the option of a dislike button. I got one of those (tap tap tap, 1234, tap tap tap, 1234 oh dang that doesn’t feel right better start again tap tap tap, 1234…) type of brains. I’m definitely not intentionally trolling or have malicious intentions with repetitious behaviors. I appreciate the heartfelt words from you and @BudWhisperer, as well as other members I’m missing. Putting yourselves out there for me when the majority are decidedly against my opinions means a lot. I don’t expect everyone to share my views or feelings and don’t hold a grudge from one instance to another. I see some do and it’s unfortunate. Many blessings and much love

It does mean he knows more about how things work here. Also I read more of these threads than anyone. He is not disingenuous , ingenuine is not a word.

Does he? I see no evidence to base that on.

That would be your opinion and you are welocme to it, as am I to mine.

…and a genuine thanks for the correction. It’s always a good day when I learn something :+1:

I’ve noticed you started not liking me from the GLG thread a while back. You’ll like comments of others when they disagree with me often but don’t like mine, and that’s fine but it’s noticable is all.

It’s unfortunate that you hold such a grudge but that’s your prerogative. I’ve got to imagine though, with the frequency in which you display agreement when others disagree with me I’ve got to imagine you’d sure enjoy mashing a dislike button on my actual comments. Would that be fair to assume?

What I’m trying to highlight is that there is plenty of “disliking” already going on, and it’s noticable in many forms. I think having a way to show it directly would be useful. Many blessings and much love

No, I was using a meme as proxy for a thumbs down button, with added sarcasm goodness.

Nor do I. Communicating in ‘meat space’ is difficult enough, online a disaster. One persons attempt at humor is another persons proof of shitty intentions.

You convinced me you feel strongly about your viewpoint, I disagree, honestly.

I apologize if I have offended you, not my intention to belittle sincerity, sincerity being so rare these days.

Did I? I don’t remember you’re really not high on my list of things I give a shit about :man_shrugging: Sorry to hear it effects you that I use my personal discretion as to where I apply my likes. I’ll make sure your comments have zero impact on how I conduct my like distribution moving forward :+1:

What is this “grudge” you speak of? Does my lack of “likes” on your comments equate to me holding a grudge? By that logic I must hold a grudge on hundreds of other members here that don’t attract my “likes”

I hold no grudge, I just hold different opinions to you and it seems you are too fragile to accept that could be anything other than a personal attack on you. Self important much?

As to your assumption that I would “sure enjoy mashing a dislike button on my actual comments” you are completely wrong. I would prefer to just ignore them, move on and show support for ideas/comments that I actually agree with.

…and I think it would not, but you don’t seem to want to hear other’s opinions :ear:

Gypsy curses and great indifference :kissing_cat:

I didn’t read through all of the previous 290 comments so this has probably been brought up repeatedly but the main reason I think it would be a bad idea to add a thumbs down on this site is because you can see who left what emoji on a post. People will absolutely take it personally and that will cause some conflict between users. This site seems much more about positivity so it doesn’t seem necessary or wise to add a way to make things negative like that.

Fuck, I thought it was already good. Perhaps some are not aware of the good skunky smell of weed. That’s what I thought it stood for…

I concur, disagreement isn’t on it’s own negative. That said, I believe the way to actual understanding is civil discussion and an open mind by all parties. Disagreement can open the door to either incivility or civil discussion. It’s all about the attitudes of the participants.

And yet you seem to disagree with so much.

I read no sarcasm there, however I am in complete agreement that one cannot expect abstract subtlelties like sarcasm to translate into text. More than 70% of face to face communication is non-verbal (eg, gesturing of hands, proxemics and body posture, as well as a host of other, more subtle things). Writing sucks when it comes to real heartfelt communication.

Really? I’m not seeing any unsightly bulges.

A double dislike button would keep users from excessive physical exercise!

Fuck, I take a statin drug and have to stay away from grapefruit. Good thing I haven’t used it!

Fill it with ketchup and the kids will never want another one!

You know, I believe you, mostly based on @Hashpants comments. That said, understanding that the nature of your repetitive condition is based on the unusual structure of your brain doesn’t make it less annoying for the rest of us.
