Tonygreens RIL Group Buy Grow Show (Closed)

yeah i need to get some, i didnt really know about it so i got bits, gnats are a real problem to me especially summer and fall, also use h202 and yellow stickies, stickies are more to monitor.

can you hear them screaming?

The mosquito dunks work great for my coco. I top dress with crushed donut rubble. Inconsistent chunks and dust.
Each top feed distributes the bt.

Toss one in the res.

agree, i dont run hydroponics but i put bits in water and water with it(plain water or no synth. to kill them). I was top feeding bits till I saw the post now there under the soil as well

when I have used dunks they worked just fine, and what I did was put them in the water as I was adding the nutes etc, let them soften a bit, then crumble them up as much as possible. Even with doing that I will still have some odd sized larger bits here and there, I don’t get crazy about it. Then water as normal, and those gnats seems to stay away (at least more than doing nothing lol).

that stuff @Tonygreen is using is interesting though, just crushed recycled glass. I am sure it slices those gnats to pieces, just as diatomaceous earth and oyster shells do. It will be interesting to see how effective it is. I love gnat snuff porn lol.

Gnat nix works dry or wet. They crawl out messed up, some cant fly, the few that do barely get up before they crash into something. I’m just not keen on the dust when applying.

when you feel it with your hands do you feel sharpness ? dia earth almost feels like bath powder to me but its supposed to cut them and they bleed out

I like to think it causes discomfort but I feed with 100ppm de every feed. It might be in my head but the plants the rils seem to suck it up good. One of my girls is already starting to frost up at the start of week 4. Almost showtime
