Tonygreens RIL Group Buy Grow Show (Closed)

Yup. Put a pot on the stove and boil some water it helps. Run the bath tub full of hot water if you don’t need the water for something else. All will add some heat. And worry about you… not the plants. Can always do it another time.

Told my wife we could hang a thouie hps in the living room but she was not amused. 35 degrees last night. Stayed right at 68 without too much trouble, that’s our normal usually. December is usually 30s, jan 30s and a few teens sprinkled. Feb is the bad one then after that flood season. Oh joy. Lol. God willing it all works out I’m gonna get a furnace and back up sump pump.
Like the bathtub idea, wonder how many btu that’s holding ha.

On the bright side feeling like I can breathe today, i really want to smoke a fatty but I’m gonna wait. Not as bad coughing which is a releif. Coughed so bad I feel like I pulled a rib muscle man.

Looking very nice!

But like everyone else has said, We’d much rather wait and have you and the family healthy and in tip top shape again, rather than further risk your health. At no point would anyone want you or someone in the family to die just to get seeds. If you feel like you can do it, power to you for sure, but don’t risk it for us. We got time :sunglasses:

VERY GOOD to hear your breathing is getting easier though. Sounds like you’re rounding the curve. I’d definitely stay clear of any joints/blunts for a few months though. Everyone is different, but I had covid back in march and its taken until november or so for me to breath mostly normal again. And any j’s or b’s just destroy my lungs immediately and its hard to breathe again for a day or so. I don’t seem to have any issues vaping herb though, Dynavap for the win in my book. ^^

Best wishes to you and the family and hope covid clears up quick and you can get some heat back in that house!

Fried board (melted relay looking thing) and maybe the blower motor.
A few suggested walking me through but I’m not fucking around with no electricity. Too many wires and too many kids ha! We be aite!

I Dont feel like we are roughing it, hell these kids nowadays dont know rough!
I’ve walked through it and the only thing I’d be comfortable doing is pulling it out, replacing the motor and capacitor looks easy but putting all those wires back is a job for a pro not me ha.

I have a couple friends that go to Canadian Tire every fall and buy a space heater and then return it every spring to get their money back. I don’t know how they do it but Costco is sure good about returns long after purchase I know that.

Ya we got heaters. Don’t think I’m freezing the kids out lol.
I heated the downstairs up to 75 pretty easy. Seems to hold real well and makes it easier to maintain upstairs.

Alright, breathing better. That’s a good start. I’m in a 125 year old house that needs help weatherizing it. It’s hard to keep it at 68 in winter.

I do keep a large pot simmering on the stove because we have low humidity.
I have a wood stove but almost out of wood. I keep a space heater near the opening of the closet inside I grow in. I crank it up in the morning.

@Tonygreen, If it’s a fried controller board that should be an easy fix. Just make sure to flip the breaker off when changing it. Google is your friend for DIY. There are usually lots of forums for HVAC, and any specific trade. Pros are eager to give you correct info and instruction. They could even walk you through it.

I’m having my own house hiccups this week. Prayers and vibes sent for you and the family to heal and find the best solution to your HVAC issue. peace

Well I certainly don’t speak for everyone, but I’d much rather have you take care of your health and home and put off the seed run than you live in discomfort and possibly make your health worse at a time it needs to be at its peak.
The seeds can wait, so if it’s what needs to be done chop the grow, get that furnace fixed and take care of yourself and, if able at a later time, then worry about the seed run.

My number 5 just floors me. Deep nose is straight medicine, burning rubber on the back end. Killer smoke.

Yea, if it was the blower motor you could put a couple drops of lube oil for a hair clipper or sowing machine on the shaft. Keep it turning temporarily. The board, just take a pic of the old one, then put the new one in.
