TopShelfs trees (Part 2)

I should look into that. I have a link somewhere for Burplids, or something like that. My bud is for me, the missus, my kids sometimes. Want to do what I can.

Good morning OGers!

Iā€™m glad to see youā€™re on the healing path @HeadyBearAdventures.

Today will be a test of my get up and go. Itā€™s tough enough on any Monday, after a full day of work, to go to the gym/pool for an evening workout. I expect itā€™ll take super-human dedication to muster that energy when itā€™s dark and already feels later than usual.

My dad has been doing AquaFit and absolutely loves it, heā€™s been going almost daily now and itā€™s been helping a lot with his hip etc. I hope you find all the strength you need and have an awesome day @MrGreenJeans

Same to you bro, glad to hear things are improving. Bet the dogs canā€™t wait for you to be fully mobile again too! When I was laid up Charlii was Lost , literally. She just wanted to walk/play /lay on me but I was in such pain/discomfort I just wanted to sleep. So hard for them to understand.

Wife put a chair at the bottom of the steps. I get down and sit, Cleo just brings me the ball until she needs to rest. After a few minutes it starts again :joy:

Good morning Tree House crew! Willing up the motivation to get out of bed this morning and find something to do.

I got out of bed but still ainā€™t doing much! Iā€™ve gotta finish taking cuts from the Boo so I cAn start spraying tomorrow so I can flip them soon, thrips or not Iā€™m not holding back any longer (although I think they are mostly gone and my beneficials should take care of the rest tomorrow, I sprayed everything real good yesterday in the mom tent, shelf is clean and has been for a few days now (where it started) just the Boo left Iā€™m unsure of tbh, Iā€™ll know more later today :crossed_fingers:t3: adding the beneficials tomorrow, and Iā€™ve got new clones I need to add to the mom room but Iā€™d prefer not adding them to thrip fest 2023 :man_facepalming:t2:

Damnit man. Thatā€™s one thing Iā€™ve been lucky enough to not drag in the house with me. I did notice a couple fungus gnats buzzing around though. And where theres a few, thereā€™s bound to be a million hiding in the hydroton feasting on those tender pre 98 roots.

Ya gnats seem to always be around in some form here, but minimal if/when they do appear as with nematodes, dunks, sprays they donā€™t stand much chance. You are right though never count those larvae out, they are what really reals havoc on root hairs etc. Iā€™ve seen this first hand in fact on seedlings in clear solos. God I hate stupid bugs! At least the NON beneficials :man_facepalming:t2:

Morning all. Thrips are the worst, got some last year from the wife bringing plants in from Home depot. You got this @TopShelfTrees1

They really are, believe it or not this is my first time EVER having thrips in ALL MY YEARS doing this! :rage: Iā€™ve had nutes a couple times, had pm once, even had a systemic fungus in my RDWC once, and stupid little bugs I have no clue what they were but there was millions, little tiny red spiders but not mites to my knowledge, different. I just want these gone so I can get back to normal and no more smacking in IPM Iā€™m going FAITHFUL from here on out, and hopefully these beneficials are just what the doc ordered! :crossed_fingers:t3:

Hell yeah! Youā€™re gonna get this issue resolved just as quickly as I got mine. I had the whole damn OG universe behind me giving suggestions on fixes. I employed almost all of them and you know what? Problem fixed. Man I love this place.

What are you using to get rid of the little fuckers

I wholeheartedly agree! If not for OG Iā€™d be in a while other headspace now that I guarantee, and would probably be a lonely hermit too  made lifelong friendships, learning constantly and have access to stuff I only ever dreamed of, not to mention the absolutely incredible kindness and generosity Iā€™ve received time and time again. A Diamond in a mountain of coal thatā€™s OG in amongst all the rest, 1000%

Used JPS, but thatā€™s long gone, now Iā€™m using beneficial mites (predators) stickyā€™s and spit spray for any little pricks I see in the open, I think if I had more JPS the problem would be gone but I only had 1.5 gallons total which only got my 4x8 and shelves plus every square inch of wall/floor, tent etc. @Jetdro

Thatā€™s one of the great things about swimming/aqua aerobics: Itā€™s so easy on the joints ā€“ usually. I used to be a state ranked competitive swimmer. I donā€™t compete any more, but expect to keep swimming for exercise until Iā€™m a dottering old fart. Unfortunately, I feel arthritis in one of my shoulders now, so it doesnā€™t come as easy to me as it used to.

Morning @TopShelfTrees1. Iā€™m going to add start @JAWS Chem #4 x Lemon Larry to your ā€œto doā€ list. Mine took a hit at the end from heat, when I popped a breaker. Being damaged myself I feel lucky it wasnā€™t worse. They were looking pretty ratty hanging. The were brittle so I left them be, where Iā€™d normally pull fans, etc.
Well Iā€™m trimming them up now. Boy are these nice! Some nice hints of color at the stems. Smells are just spectacular! The lemon is strong, but thereā€™s some chemical/solvent there too. Not a dirty smell at all. These will light up nice in the jars after a cure. Iā€™ve finally got enough stashed to let these get a good cure. Really wish they got more time, even though they were opaque and amber. These hit 56 days. Maybe that was all Iā€™d get out of them. Yield appears to be good too.
