Funny enough, I came down with an abscess a few days agoā¦looks like I need a root canal. Great.

Yes sir thatās from me. Crazy! That literally took almost 2 months! To go 45 minutes away! Wtf? Gives me hope for the others still out there though. Oh brother, get that fixed asap, that pain was the worst Iāve experienced in my life, 5 days of no sleep, severe pain and anxietyā¦ā¦ @CanuckistanPete i hope it doesnāt get too bad. 
get those antibiotics in there asap

Ya, the envelope looked like it was lost somewhere in limbo, it was beat up and torn, but the goods were still in it!
Already on Amoxicillin, the pain has dulled down to quite bearable.
Funny, the last root canal I had done (probably 15 years ago) I was working in Alberta and Northern BC and came down with an abscessā¦I couldnāt sleep and was eating Tylenols like candyā¦finally went to a dentist and he could only give me a scrip for antibiotics cause he was booked up. It slowly got rid of the pain and I called my wife to set up an appt. the day after I got home. I go the dentist, suffering from a total lack of sleep, and end up falling asleep during the root canal.
They wake me up when they were done and theyāre staring at me like I have 2 headsā¦Iām like āWhatās upāā¦he says "Nobody has ever fallen asleep during a root canalā¦usually theyāre white knuckled and tense as heck.

I totally get thatā¦. Itās impossible to sleep with pain like that. I have found the best over the counter for tooth pain is motrin 400mg . Always keep some around now. Glad itās bearable now, very glad as I know just how bad it can be. Stoked you got those beans, looks like they ripped off the corner trying to get into it, but couldnāt get the pucks out, thank God! Iām just happy you got em as thereās a couple in there I couldnāt replace.

Awe Iām sorry to hear this brother @TopShelfTrees1 I hope youāre doing alright. I know things are tough with such major pain, but you can push through this and at least partially recover if not fully recover!
Take it from me, I have a rod in my right leg, multiple plates on both sides of my pelvis, a plate in my left elbow/funny bone, a torn rotator cuff, dislocated shoulder, and three more plates in my jaw.
I was hit by a car as a pedestrian right near my house while walking home from a nearby familyās members house, which caused me to be hospitalized for 3 months total from December 10th that year til mid March if my memory is correct, and thatās not including the rehabilitation facility, then physical therapy and occupational therapy, re-learning how to walk with a walker then crutchesā¦
Life is pretty crazy and can through you some serious curveballs, so some days I get by okay, but on bad days thatās typically when I eat a lot of edibles, or I might use RSO, distillate, or tinctures on top of occasional smoking.

True that ibuprofen is the only otc med I found that even dulls tooth pain like that. Glad you are home and doing better man. Nothing like a pup to keep you smiling.

Oh shit man. I hope everything turns out as no big deal when you visit the specialist. I would be careful with any Motrin or stuff like that if youāre having kidney issues. I never take any of that stuff myself. Sketches me out too much.

Thank you guys, really means a lot all of the support I have here from my brothers, been a real shit week, but Iām hoping Iām finally on the mend as today is the best day yetā¦ā¦ but this anxiety 
god I hate having this level of anxiety, just amplifies everything 10 fold at least.

Jebus @TopShelfTrees1. Iām sorry to hear about your discomfort. The last time I had kidney issues was when I had a kidney stone. Pain up under your ribs you canāt get away from. It made me get clammy and I puked real good. I didnāt know what the fuck was going on. They told me that jank was too big to pass. I passed it anyway like a G. I still have it in itās container around here somewhere if you ever wanna see this astroid I shot out of my ding dong! Lol. Hope they get you straight soon.

For future reference. Aleve liquid gels, squirt it right on the abcess tooth, hold it there 20mins, itāll knock 30% off your pain level for 2-3 days till you see a dentist for canal. Nothing else works remotely as well. Well nothing legal anyways
