I did that once really aggressively straining canna oil 
… not fun lol.

OUCH! … switch to warm coconut oil/olive oil! 
soothing, mositurizing, and gets off all the gunk without nasty iso smell!

I may have unknowingly with the finger hash from shucking. The little balls go right into the bowl after shucking. I’m ruthless with hash. It doesn’t stay around long to cure much.
