TopShelfs trees (Part 3)

Morning @TopShelfTrees1 . Justin was in remission when Lana met him. She didn’t expect to get to grow old with him. It was much quicker than anyone anticipated. Justin went the traditional route, chemo, radiation, etc on is initial session with cancer. When it can back, he went full steam ahead with the herbal route, spending 3 months in Peru at a traditional, Indian medicine.
Neither route worked. It happens. He died 12/26/23. The insult to injury is the disrespect paid by some of his family. Some of his family denied the Peru route helped. Well gee… he’s dieing, but is the happiest he’d been in years! Spiritually sound. I’ll take that setting over some sterile setting to transition to whatever.
I guess I trying to say just be respectful of others wishes and feelings. Regardless if you understand.
I think I need to play with plants.

I don’t use a thermostat with my heat mats. Unless you have an off-brand that gets unusually hot I don’t think they are needed… I once used a huge igloo cooler for my clone chamber and it had a thermostat; the thermostat burned out and the temps get up around 110-120°F (there was a heat mat and a fluorescent lamp inside the insulated igloo cooler) and all my seeds popped and clones rooted in 3-4 days! It was at that time I quit using a thermostat and have never looked back.

I remember hearing about him in Peru etc. and how happy he was, your daughter is a special kind of person brother, truly. From all I’ve seen I only hope I did close to as good a job as you and Jan did. Truly. That is sad, those were his wishes and he got to experience something many never would, as well as take fate into his own hands…. That’s living

RIP Justin :pensive:

I use one for my huge mats only because it’s the ac infinity one and I don’t set for temp but just crank it up so it sits around 90 on the floor, (if I don’t it only hits about 81)then I place new pots on top to soak up that residual heat. For my small mats, no thermostat (I do have two more though with two plugs each) I just place something to semi diffuse the heat, but as @herojuana.tom said I’ve seen good things come from well over 80 degree temps so I don’t usually stress it anymore

The family thing is so weird. I had a friend call me up a couple years ago. 3 high school friends of his were sent home from the hospital to die. They were literally told this. He asked me to make rso for them. I sent all of them rso and family stood in the way! I just don’t get it, if modern medicine has said we have done what we can, it didn’t work, why not try other options. Your dying anyway what’s the worst it could do

Exactly ! It’s insane! I make RSO for a few people (gratis) have for many many years. Two of them being children with epileptic issues, it’s one of the ONLY things that works, and truly one of the only that’s truly safe and works, everytime! I used to make for this young boy whose father was a great friend for two decades. When he passed 4 years back, his ex got custody and refused to let me give him rso any longer, or even see him for that matter. I watched that young boy suffer for years, she has moved away and doesn’t have social media now so I have no clue where he’s at now, breaks my heart. That bitch actually was hurting her child by doing so…. I just don’t get it :man_shrugging:t2:

She left him in the first place because of our “business” always anti-weed it makes no sense , if something could give my children relief from seizures, pain, suffering I would personally move heaven and/or hell to ensure they got it. Regardless of what I personally thought.

I don’t get it either. I’m sure the view is she’s doing the best thing for her son also. Even with evidence to the contrary

Exactly…. I can’t imagine a parent wanting to hurt their child, it’s just so weird. If it works, and truly improves quality of life, who cares. But I can’t pretend to know what some think

So you saw the pic of my buddy BroFro. He was pretty rough around the edges. He would have been much worse had it not been for the generosity of others. He lurked around a coffee shop and a health food store/Cafe. I asked at both places as I knew the folks who worked there. He was taken care of. Lots of offers…all better than the dispo. Can you imagine anyone, for any reason, thinking they had a better idea for “helping him transition” to “something different”. What, I do not know.
With everything else going on in my life, I just realized I had not put a lot of thought into BroFro’s transitioning. He was from Greenwich Village prior to Morro Bay.

That’s dope. Is it a physical tape that also reads digitally?

I could try to explain it but a YouTube video explains best. It’s a tape measure with a live digital readout and you can create blueprints with the app from the measurements you take this thing is like the Lamborghini of tape measures lol
