In that situation, I would comply until probation was over.
After having a buddy of mine get his probation revoked for failing a UA and the shit show he brought upon himself after fleeing the state, getting caught, and then deported to England from the USA
I wouldn’t be able to handle the paranoia.
Yeah, I got off with no violations luckily, but it was tough quitting smoking, at that point I was not in the best state of mind.

The company I work for allows for legal weed use. I still worry I’ll get injured and the workman’s comp will deny based on it though.

I hurt myself working so many times over the years. Knew from watching others WC wasn’t worth the hassle. This injury I knew was different the second it happened. I even had a lawyer. I told him and the judge I thought they were both thieves.
You absolutely need to get a lawyer immediately when dealing with workmen comp. They are all about not helping you!!!
Prior to my nightmare I would have agreed. Payoff was the same, minus the lawyer’s fee. Is that messed up or what? Lawyer was highly recommended. He has since retired.
