Good morning everyone and happy Easter! Hope yall have a great holiday! Man I came across this killer idea yesterday to hang ropes from this tall tree in the backyard and grow kiwiberries in the backyard and have them vine up into the tree from the rope then do other fruiting vine varieties the same way but my fiance said no thats a bad idea because she doesn’t like me climbing the tree without gear and being safe like the country boy I am lol. I mean great idea is it not?

Hell yes! I’m a big fan of vines and stuff like that, I never thought of something that cool. But at my old place I had clematis climbing my Japanese maple, every year they would progress and cover the base and about 1/3 of the way up with flowers, it was awesome and everyone commented on it.

Now imagine that with fruits! I was intrigued by the kiwiberry because it doesn’t have the fuzzy outer skin and ypu don’t have to skin them. Not that it’s stopped me before as I usually eat the skin but I now really want to make a fruit tree with different plants that vine from the ground and you could just go and grab grapes, kiwiberries, or shoot even cantaloupe if you have a good support for them
