They must, but are hard to obtain/find. I found a little store way up north that had so many about 4 years back, I bought 14 pairs, no joke . They even had the old style and the different inseam lengths. Sadly when I looked last year the store no longer exists and it had been there over 30 years too! Sign of the times I guess, sad but true

We survived the storm last night but I’ll be screwing down sheet out at the goat shelter today. It got down right serious about 4:00. The house actually started shaking. It had me puckered for a while but this house is built from an old church. There have been a lot of prayers made inside these walls. Maybe that kept it on it’s foundation. lol

That’s really cool! I love stuff like that , it’s amazing to see what lies beneath old homesteads, when I was in construction we would tear down old places often and the stuff we’d find was amazing! Many old homes are built right ontop of former homes. We found wood that looked like it was from ancient split rails, foundations of hand made stone concrete, mud and stone. Houses that used newspapers as insulation was the best, seeing all the old newspapers. So cool! Best find was an uncut roll of 50 1$ Canadian bills from the 60’s, and a jar of old coins tucked in a corner of a roof that the most recent coin was 1951 . Pretty cool!

Personally I’ve been in the house near the center of an earthquake back in California, and I have never seen walls bend like that again, it was very scary, but I came out unscathed luckily !

Thank God! I have been through 2-3 ever but sooo long ago I can barely remember. I can’t imagine a tornado, hurricane etc. that shit must be unreal scary

Hurricanes can be crazy, but depending at least you have a small window of opportunity to leave if you’re aware it’s coming to your area.
I’ve been through a few smaller ones here in Florida, but nothing crazy like hurricane Ivan ripped through this area very badly in 2004
Usually we luck out and most major hurricanes seem to go away from my area, at least since I’ve been living here for the last seven years

No hurricane’s either. I’m two for two on that. But tornado’s… Yeah, I’ve seen a few up close and personal. Scary shit right there. I had a 10’ 4x4 sink two feet deep in the ground not 20’ from where I was standing on the porch, drunk, taking a piss. I’ll bet that I left a trail of piss back through the damn front door!
