Good morning guys! Had an appt this morning and did some groceries and errands, look at this shit!
It’s so funny too cuz I was just telling @JustANobody we rarely get snow that sticks in April, and lots has melted, last night it was a good 3 inches or so but it’s hovering around 3 so it’s melting fast now. Good old Ontario!

@HighTilliDie no I haven’t, wife’s working stupid hours cuz of this eclipse idiocy (did u know we were issued a state of emergency because of all the people coming) nasa is set up on the beach a 5 min walk from my dads place, every amateur sky searcher has locked in a spot and is already there to ensure no one steals it lol crazy .
Oh and guys ! Make sure your blinds/curtains are closed and don’t bring your pets outside while it’s happening it’s actually much worse for pets than humans to look at it directly.
And I’m not paying 20$ for a pair of 3d glasses so I’m not gonna be watching either I guess

An old timer game is where you get to see a bunch of legendary retired hockey players skate circles around cops and firemen and punk them completely. In a way it’s the best way to see the skill disparity. Everybody in canada skates, and these guys aren’t teenagers or something. They’re front line workers (ACAB) and the old men are just still on a completely different level. It’s like watching an adult slap shot a 6 year old child.

It’s not really fishy, people just don’t understand what a state of emergency means
It means services are strained and that police, medical etc may not be able to keep up, which is true
And they need assistance
