Glad you had a great weekend brother, I had a good one too, (minus the hangover) I love that pic , reminds me of charlii she gets pissed if I don’t take her out or do enough outside with her, she goes to the door, scratches, then pulls on my pant leg or sits on the floor in front and stares at me until I give in.
Animals are the best!
Sliders huh? Nice I’ve never had one, no joke! I just noticed my favourite burger place carries them now as of last week so I may change that soon.
Good morning! Hope you are having a great day!
Good morning everyone. Hopefully a great day is being had by all.
Since I’m timed out
Good morning @Emeraldgreen ! Having a great day I hope!
Good morning bro! It’s definitely better than yesterday. I hope your week is off to a good start.
We shall see . But .
Hope you have a start of a great week
Good mornin @TopShelfTrees1 and fam on this wonderful Moonday.
Good morning @Dope_Heffalump i hope things are off to a great start for you bro
This is what I’ve been doing all morning. 0.58 lbs of bud split up between 19 14 gram bags getting ready to start pressing and hoping to have most done before 2pm
Things are starting to get chaotic.
A friend asked me to help him prep the exterior of a house for paint 1.5 hours away, this week.
Then, my long term employer calls this morning and wants me to help tidy up our Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) on a a couple bridges up the road.
First World Problems.
I’m interested in making or purchasing something like that.
How many hours to squish a pound on your unit, do you reckon?
That’s a fun day imo
On anything with the small plates a pound will be a few hours for sure. I wish I knew low temp had EPIC 420 deals! And their stuff is top shelf no question and an insane sale is the only way I may ever get one. Even on my unit it takes at least 2 hours or so but I’m also a perfectionist and everytbi g has to be a certain way.
You know I’m not quite sure. I can give you the specs and then we can do math from there. Depending on your set temp it takes about 3 minutes to heat up and hold steady. After it’s to temp you have to pre press your bagged bud before the squish. I’ll allow anywhere from 3-5 minutes (strain dependent) for the warmup before pressing then it’s about 1 min 30 seconds to 2 mins with the pressure. This unit is capable of pressing out an oz at a time (2 14 gram bags) and then ill go back and press out the spent pucks 1 more time with the same warmup before the press and then on spent pucks its about 3 minutes to really get the rest out but thats 2 spent pucks at a time and the 2nd press is put in a seperate container for edibles as it isnt as great as the 1st press but still potent. Ive found its better to use just 1 bag at a time for best yield so that obviously adds more time. I would say about 7 minutes per 14 gram puck. There is 33 bags to make up a pound and pressing the spent pucks 2 at a time I would say for a whole pound your at about 7 hours with the added time of packing the bags. The math I got behind this is 33 bags ×7= 231 minutes / 60 minutes per hour you get 3.85 hours. Then do the math for the spent pucks being pressed at about 5 minutes per 2 and you come to 1.375 hours. That comes to 5.225 hours and just a wild guess on packing the bags to bring it to 7 hours grand total if your really cranking at it but if your gonna take breaks it’s a half day occasion
Man, that thing is SICK!
I use a manual one right now. 2-3g per press, but it gets the job done for personal use. One day I’ll upgrade to a hydraulic, manual is a PIA
Thank you for taking the time to math that out for me.
I really appreciate it.
@Dope_Heffalump @TrichomesToStun I got this on sale thru nugsmasher. It was one of those stupid I have to ask because they might say yes type things. Well they had a financing option to lock in the sale and a call number so I called and locked in the sale at like 57% off about a year and half ago. They usually go for $2200 but it was marked down to about 1 g and if you can pay it off within 6 months the unit is yours! You don’t get the unit sent out until the final payment is made and you don’t have to make monthly payments its just if you don’t pay it off in the 6 months then they will give you a website credit and not your money back. Either way super nice people I called and worked out a payment plan and really glad I did
The lay away plan.
I remember as a kid many businesses would do this.
I was just checking the nug smasher site and that financing option sounds attractive.
I’ve got some Sativas I’d like to squish.
I wanted to pick one of those up in a big bad way!
Pick-N-Save, Mervyns and Kmart every year as kids lol
Imagine them still around and selling Nugsmashers on lay away
