Good morning everyone! Hope you are all having a great day so far! Hey @TopShelfTrees1 did you see that wild home design picture I posted a few posts up? That area had a 20-24ft ceiling area I would love to grow massive plants there but with how they are using it im like no this was a terrible design lol

Good morning bro, I did see that, I actually like the idea. My wife used to clean this really rich guys house here in “calagiuro estates” he always had an area off limits (this was 15 years ago) anyway one day she gets there and his niece was staying there so she went about her business. The niece says, “oh I made a big mess back there watering , do you mind? “ and points to the off limits part, she’s like “sure” curious to see what was there, it was two huge open rooms, attached to a huge glass greenhouse part that went out back quite a ways, he had monsters in there ! Like 15 of them! The other two rooms were veg and a drying/curing room. It was awesome and he was using the sun to bloom but inside, I was intrigued and said I’d do similar if I built a house .

And so it begins. I dug one of them up the other day while transplanting my berry plants so I knew it would be soon but looking outside in the garden this morning we saw a cicada just chilling in the rose bush and we were like no no sir you can eat the peonies not the roses

Great shot! Oh man a while back my yard, trees, house, car even the road was covered. I’d sit there smoking J’s on the porch and watch them coming up through the dirt by the dozens every minute. It was like an alien apocalypse or some shit !

Is there cicadas out there as well? I had to Google the difference between cicadas and locusts lol. Locusts are not at all in the US I believe

I don’t get that with phones. Mine sucks at macros yet my mentor has the exact same phone and kills it on the macros

Lol sometimes I hate technology. Those cicadas are so noisy I can’t remember a single summer growing up without hearing them

They really are it’s crazy! The birds love them too! I had blue jays and cardinals that lived at my old place. They would feast on them all summer, even rear their young on them. Things are a smorgasbord compared to most bugs
