Ny taxes by this formula. Thc percent times .005
24 percent looks like this for an eighth
(.24 ā¢3500) ā¢ .005 equals $4.20 per eighth so an ounce is $33.60. This is hidden from the customer who than pay 13 percent sales tax

Itās legal and taxed in ny. One thing ny did is make it so the sales tax is fixed across the state. The different localities canāt add on taxes

It definitely doesnāt help the legal market when the black market is cheaper.
This is old info, but itās still very close to what is still going on.
Marijuana business owners in the state report pounds of wholesale cannabis flower are selling for:
Indoor testing at 30% THC: $4,000
Indoor testing at 25% THC: $3,500 (down $100-$200 from last year)
Indoor testing at 20% THC: $3,000 (down $100-$200 from last year)
Indoor testing under 20% THC: Less than $3,000
Outdoor/trim grown primarily for extraction: $2,600-$2,800 (down $100-$200 from last year)
Then you have to take $800 off of that for tax.

Wow thatās high. You can get eighth for 25-52 retail. This means that the wholesale is less than half to the cultivator. The cultivator can only sell tested packaged flower to the dispensary.
If your selling bulk to the processors the price is 500-1000. Most being on the lower end. If they need to remediate it, the cost comes out of your money

I spent so much time in Ft. Myers as a kid I think I know where this is. Just west of Tampa if I recall?

I have the Da Buddah vaporizer for home use. I worry about all the heavy metals present in these vapes where youāre drawing the air near those parts. Da Buddah is just a heated ceramic rod and then the flower so no chance of heavy metals. 
@Wizdom hooked me up with an Airizer Solo 1 which has now pretty much replaced my 1-hitter.
Now Iām dabbing like a fiend with my enail, and my lungs, ears, nose and throat have not been this good for 15 years!!! All this talk about lung cancer and other things makes me glad Iām transitioning to less combustion consumptionā¦ finally.

@Pigeonman Never heard of da Buddah. Went with S&B as they are really the only company out there with a medical grade certificate to make them to spec. Ive heard nothing but great things about S&B quality and craftsmanship. Itās a few extra things they add to their regular pieces to make it meet the standards for medical patients. Looks like the main thing different is use for dronabinol

@Hotrods_and_hounds probably half maybe less I wanna do 100 but I donāt wanna overdo it yet, I need to get my clone stable going into flower too so Iām gonna add 12-20 clones into the flower along with them.

Yall just reminded me Iām trying to get some dabs prepped to be made by the start of next week hopefully start pressing pucks by Monday. It seems Iām gonna have a helper. My fiance has a work buddy who is eager to learn about weed and growing. At the moment heās so excited itās almost annoying trying to explain things to him because he wants to talk over me and tell me how excited he is. I donāt mean to sound like a grouch but I think heās a bit eager to get some hands on experience because he wonāt stop talking about it and offering to work for free lol. I said well if your serious about it then be here at 8am Monday Iām shipping clones and making dabs and ill surely put you to work. My fiance was laughing with an evil grin and saying well I hope it works out for him heās really excited and hasnāt stopped talking about it all day lol
