Hi, I’m kinda curious, maybe I’m being paranoid, maybe I’m being impatient, maybe shit gets lost, but I’ve been waiting for several weeks, over a month I think, for beans to come from the US. Has any other member ever had to wait this long?
Not suspecting members of not delivering, but I do sometimes think there might be a flag on my name or adress or something…
Any ideas on how long shipping from US to Western Europe took last for you?
I’ve had several Cards, Padded Envelops NEVER make it, victims of the Postal Authorities. I simply resend in Standard Greetings Cards. I sense several Cards to Canada may have fallen into that category, as still awaiting confirmation of delivery. It’s a Game, SS/BW…mister
Yup, I’ve sent my creations around the globe. Thailand, Spain, the Netherlands.
(That’s such a cool word, say it with me. The Netherlands.) And Europe. Postage to EUROPE is a global and one forever stamp. Anddd, I’d have to check and see but I think a month isn’t unreasonable. After that, I’d resend also.
@misterbee I think they are on to the washer/flip thing. I’m hoping @Bobgrows flips will make an aberration in the matrix. I’ll have to ask her about making some bars, or odd shapes to throw off the heathen postal inspectors further…
I have bought seeds from the US and let them send them to Europe several times and they have always made it. It never took longer than two weeks after the payment arrived. Most of the serious seed banks will also give you a tracking info for the letter or package so to minimize paranoia. The last ones that did were Great Lakes Genetics, Humboldt CSI and Cannaventure Seeds.
I received seeds from US and CA, the timeline to spain is: the fastest 11 days … The slower that arrive around 20 days. One never arrived, was resend… And by the time is taken since, I think that will not arrive. And I have to not suspect for non sending, I think that we are all reasonable adults and if the person would not want to send overseas, simple say that.
Sometimes packets get lost, that is it.
Great idea! We are working on a slim bar shape.
To fit inside the crease of the card.
We will need to send a sample to see how it goes…
It’s in the works.
If interested send me a DM.
Yours arrive in 13 days. ( I posted it in the free s/ free clones thread)
From my notes send around 28.2.-- received 13.3.
The green olive will be sown with the next moon, or more or less when the LpC contest begin. I have take cuts of the littles, so when rooted will have vegetative space free.
Yeah either my memory is so shot (real possibility here) I just don’t remember receiving some of the beans I was sent, but I’m absolutely certain there’s at least a few packages that got “lost”…
Personally I get real pissed at the authorities for putting up rules to ensnare us, then putting in place rules for them to follow to break us, then they just break their own rules cause they know they can’t win without breaking their own set of rules.
It’s just…
Fuck em, overgrow the world!
About overgrowing the world…
I have a mouse problem. The other day I just smoked some and I got paranoid that a mice got into my bag of chicken hemp seed. So what did I do? I grabbed the bag, twisted it closed tight, and while my thought went from “KILL THAT FUCKER!” to “What am I doing?” I smashed the bag with 3 pouns of hemp seed into the wall, of course resulting in the bag spreading hemp seed across my whole garden, shed, and, well, me basically providing the mice with a free for all dinner for weeks
Serves me right for trying to take the cat’s job. Oh well. I’ll have the chickens take care of the resulting seedlings. And we’ll be adopting a few strays cause our house cat is just one lazy motherfucker. He grabs a mouse every now and then but I think we have multiple families of mice since our surroundings are heavenly for them.
Thing is I’ve had a good decade long stint with lyme disease that’s still not completely over and I’m not about to let mice spread even more ticks around my garden!
So there it is, seeds sent to Spain arrived before beans to Canada, I guess it’s just the luck of the draw.!!! @Wizzlez sorry to hear about the Lyme, it can be a real bear and can effect so many people so many different ways.
And I’m a lazy cat owner too. Have seen mice walk right in front of my cat, like, ‘hey, good morning!’ Had to move the cats dry food on the chair as I suspected mice were pilfering it every night. About a month later my electric fireplace died in my BEDROOM. Underneath was nearly a pound of dried cat food kibble stashed.
Now I just set traps, especially when it starts to get cold. Often I can hear one skittering around in the attic. Was thinking of getting a snake to keep up there but wife was like ‘no freaking way’.
