We need packaging dates on seed packs!

I have some wrapped in foil.

I can’t see any reason to put seeds in the oven (if you meant that) and rice would plump if it had moisture in it. A few plain rice grains in a dark jar set in a cupboard or drawer that stays around 55 to 65 degrees would last a long, long time from my reading. I stick mine in the fridge and have no problems.

haha no-- the oven is to 100% dehydrate rice that naturally absorbs ambient humidity (if kept unsealed, like a lazy bastard/batchelor such as myself). my 'fridge is the only thermally stable place on my property(old house). easily hits 84F inside w/o A/C.
