Whats your go to way to smoke?

You can make clouds with the volc. I really never go avove 383 but if you get close to 400 its thick like smoke.

For joints? Please put me up on game sir. Is there a particular product?

I can see that… vaping is definitely different. Maybe a bit less “sit yo ass down and watch tv” buzz but still satisfying. I tend to vape during the day and mostly smoke at night for a little less of the lazies. Also i appreciate the fact that vaping doesn’t make your clothes smell like you just smashed a blunt in the car with your homies.

OCB makes a shorter one we tried these not thinking about how long these are

Huh…kinda interested. Ill research. Probably healthier. Does it take anything away from the punch or the flavor?

My go to is a joint. I prefer king-sized cones. The perfect size for sitting out on the deck at night and contemplating the universe.

I also have various other accoutrements such as a dry flower vape (Xmax Starry), two Raw rollers (1-1/4 and King), a glass pipe and a bong. All get used occasionally, but the cones are my favorite.

I haven’t noticed any difference
At all
Just easier on the lungs

Interesting, I may need to try those too
I notice a slight difference in flavor when I’m smoking joints with a paper filter/crutch vs unfiltered “no tip”
Seems I like the “no tip” option best, despite getting the occasional crumb in my mouth

One of the biggest perks of vaping, IMO

Hell yes. I end most of my nights by vaping several Volcano bags back-to-back, starting around 400* F and stopping at 434* F. Creates a super thick vapor and gets me closer to the deep stone from smoking. Causes me to cough a lot but nothing in comparison to combustion

smoking doesnt make me cough but a dry hot vape will. ive heard good things about the glass bubbler for the volc. i think its called obsidian maybe. i should pull the trigger if its still around.

The herb iron set up I use its comparable to ball vapes, or so Im told. Ive never used one personally, just this set up. I got my first set up almost a decade ago.
I got diagnosed with COPD back in 08. Eventually, I used joints to quit a 3-5 pack a day for 20 years addiction. About half a year after my last cig, my lungs were not getting better. So I bought an herb iron and got off the lighters. What a world of difference. Within a month of removing bic lighters, I could tell a difference with my lungs.
Iirc the herb iron and glass vape attachment run about $110-120, for both. Then one just needs a bong. I do prefer a 7 hole bowl over the central hole bowls but both do work.
As to fx vaping is extraction. I find that its stronger then smoking, On par with dabbing. The flavor is greatly enhanced too. I cant stand the smell and taste of smoke anymore.

I’m athletic and like a crafty vaporizer to spare my lungs

Try hitting the bag through a bong. it’s awesome. Super smooth and very easy on the lungs.

Honestly mate, they all function pretty much the same. B2cvape on alexpress, the omega from cloud connoisseur or sun and flare from koilboi are great budget options, then you can send as much as you like. r/vaporents on reddit and troy from 420 vape zone have great info.

To followup on @Tigertyas’ comment,

is (last I checked) the go to place to discuss/learn about vapes. There’s a lot of in-depth discussion and real experiences to read.

I almost never actually smoke with a flame and honestly can’t even remember the last time I did because I don’t like smelling like smoke and I’m not gonna have actual smoke in the house so I pretty much exclusively use a dry herb vaporizer which solves both those problems and just tastes/smells better. The majority of the time I use my Starry Xmax 3.0 which I’ve been using for years and love. Generally, I’ll start at 400F for a while then go to 430F to finish the bowl which is the highest I go, pun not intended but so fitting lol.

I could not agree more! :+1: I absolutely hate the house or me smelling of smoke. That’s why I only smoke out on the verandah, and neither I nor the house ever smells of smoke. I suspect you would approve.

That said, I’m considering getting some kind of dry herb vaporizer. It’s the whole geezer lungs thing. labrat

My daily driver is an Arizer Solo 2. If I’m gonna take my time and savor the bowl, I do like 3 or 4 minutes at 170C for flavor then 220C (max) to get stoned :smirk:. I combust probably 3 or 4 times a week. Usually just a pin joint on a walk after the kids are in bed. Sometimes I fire up the old bubbler. I do find that combustion gets me that last 5% of the way to being stupidly high, which is where ya wanna be sometimes right? I also notice like another poster said that the dryness of the vape gets harsh after 2 bowls. You have to drink about a liter of water to get through without hacking.

After reading a few mentions and reviews on OG I decided to pick up a Herb Iron with the vape attachment. There’s a bit of a learning curve to it, but I’m just now getting the hang of it and it’s tight as fuck. Water cooled vapor through my bubbler? Mamma mia :pinched_fingers: :pinched_fingers:

I’ve debated doing the bubbler for the mighty / crafty but it never seemed like a good system that I can figure out.
