When do you lollipop? Why at that point?

The general consensus around here is “After the stretch has stopped, lollipop as soon as possible.”

looks like you got it right… I remove some of the lower stuff when they go into flower and then get the rest at 2 weeks in… I don’t do any pruning after that…

Big chunk plan?

I remove all but the top 2 or 3 nodes a few days before they go into flower. I do this to concentrate all plants flowering energy into the top of the plant. I do it before flower because I don’t like chopping on the plants/stressing while they’re flowering.

yes i like to lollipop and clean up before flowering and then heavy deleafing 2-3 weeks after flowering starts

i didn’t do the pre flower lollipop this round and ended up stripping off so much growth that was just wasted energy. never again!

I trim the undercarriage towards end of veg and pull all overlapping leaves through out flower. All of this is for disease and pest management.

I only trim pre-flowering for training/size management. After flipping to 12/12, I leave everything be… that said, I seem to be consistently having nitrogen deficiency around week 4-5 of 12/12, so some “natural” defoliation starts to occur around this time

That said, my humidity in flower is generally quite low (< 40%), and I have lot of under-canopy air circulation… no pest or PM problems yet, fingers crossed.

I trimed week before flower and Just now which is 16 day of flower. A bit late but I waited for stretching to be over…
