The worst part is it’s even scummier than the concept of “DLC” they used to to try to sell. It was presented as hey here’s this game and we’re going to keep working on it to put out new things that you can buy when they’re ready. Now I swear they make a complete game and then decide what parts to chop off and release over time as if they developed it after the fact. COD is the worst offender of that shit.
Then again you have GTA 5 where they really perfected the art of milking a game by actually adding shit and giving it to you for free, but then everything costs so much in game they try to get people to buy shark cards.
I have a nice rig capable of high frame rates in 4K on the new games. I dont have the time to play much , so i never remember the key strokes or commands, and it is iratating . Frustrating. Have most of the high end games, just do not play them.
One exception is Red Dead Redemption 2. Looks realistic on my big screen, sounds great. I will get lit big time, and hop on a horse and ride into a town and just cause chaos. Never played the game, just ride around getting in trouble. lol
Gta5 too. Will grab all the guns and ammo, go downtown to the big tower, climb it, and see how long i can survive picking off cars and people before the Helocopters get , me…
Been playing maneater, zone out with a blunt and grow a big ass shark eating all the smaller fish, sharks, people then you attack fishing boats when you’re big enough the coast guard comes after you.
I like to play squad on PC, used to play Rust and DayZ a while back and some random management/city builders, and i usually play battlefield or rocket league on XBox
If you haven’t played Rust in awhile they have changed A LOT. You still need a fresh box a tissue s for the inevitable crying we all do after taking some big loses.
To date I have never played another game that makes me as happy or sad as Rust, which I why I still play.
lol! He used emulators instead of the cabinet hardware to play the games, and that’s a no-no. I think the documentary was called “The king of Kong: a fistful of quarters”
I didn’t see the documentary but I read about it in the news the other day I’ll have to look at that. I think I seen something about it but it’s been a few years ago.
I’m going to I have to check shadowbane out. Love your rust description. Fyi alot of servers have raid alarms so now you can get a text at 3 am that some Chad is trying to break into your base and you get to grapple with the choice of getting up or going back to sleep and accepting your loss.
Imagine being so good at video games instead of spending another six hours to beat it again, that you’d rather spend years in court to prove your worth.
He used to have records for setting high scores in public arcades. That probably got him all kinds of girls.
I love video games, but due to visual & inner ear issues, can only play '‘old school’ stuff… Mostly Mario, RPG stuff and puzzle gams…
Son never got into any of the hard-core violent stuff… so we have a LOT of games- but not ‘Halo’ or Grand Theft Auto etc…
I’m a ‘Spore’ , Zuma, Bejeweled and Tetris addict… boring right?
I played Red Dead Redemption 1 a couple of times but couldn’t love it somehow some way. Nowadays i mainly play old school games on my Nintendo 3ds like Mario vs Donkey Kong.
