Niceā¦be watchig how this goes. Where did it come from??
The only two that survived out of the AKBB NL1BX pack well one more may still come up it does make me feel better seeing the leaf twists the old lines of NL have so hopefully I get atleast one female ideally one of each and Iāll pollinate some lowers
Its super hard to pick just one from JOTIā¦so many stellar strains
When marketing things its best to limit choiceā¦too many choices isnāt good becauseā¦what if I choose wrong?? The paradox of choiceā¦any choice with JOTI is a good and wise choice!!
Northern Lights is soooo deadly it earns its own thread!
Anybody run his diesels?
I grew Victory NL , nice woody, kinda piney, complex flavor to it.
Short stubby with big yield and large amount of resin.
I had a clone outside as an experiment, flowering outdoors in winter, purple because of the cold
Didnāt work though canāt recommend it. This plant ended up being neglected and I pulled it.
Looks like frost on itā¦
Female seeds + 420 +
A Canadian seller on eBay has NL6 and NL7 on there right now if anyone is interested
https://www.ebay.com/itm/153956748553
Someone should get on these guy has godbud and a dozen others ā¦I know a lot of people would be iffy about a eBay purchase but itās worked out good for me so far
so the Northern Lights arrived in 27 days AND got 12 Blue Lights for freebies on a 12 seed order ! wow so cool!
Well people, Iāve been dealing with a lot of work lately and Iām sorry to say I lost the male (which really sucks).
Damn, sorry bro. Itās hard enough for me to end up keeping the ones I should but to lose it after I had finally saved a good one, sheesh.
I think biotechnology/plant tissue culture techniques could make this a far more infrequent occurrence. There are studies being done on long term cold storage of cannabis explants. The last results I saw indicated a 90% growth rate in explants stored a 15 degrees C for 6 months.
Itās not a simple procedure, so it wouldnāt be feasible for the average grower, but in my mind I see a āclone freezerā where breeders/growers can pay to store their elite cuts.
Just imagine. The next time this happens, you send an email, and a couple of weeks later you get a brand new rooted plantlet overnighted to you, ready to transplant.
::grabs bottle of lotion and heads for bathroom::
Theyāll stay good for a couple weeks in the fridge
Good to know for planning purposes
Itās a multi-stage process, involving creating explants, encapsulating them with alginate, and freezing them. I donāt want to keep hijacking the Northern Lights thread.
There are others here with more knowledge of these things who have started threads on tissue culture, and genetic preservation. If youāre interested, give them a look.
Hello im new here so excuse me if im outta place, im trying to finger everystuff out. I saw your Northern Lights wanted post and thought Iād say hi.
I have some Auto Northern Lights going right now i got them to strictly make feminized seeds with to have for later cross breeding. If everything goes well, and i can figure out how to save your contact info, i could give or trade you a few. I am moving soon, in the middle of the grow but it shouldnāt really effect them much.
Okay.
Hey man just so you know as long as people arenāt arguing I have no problems with my threads taking detours along the way others might not like it but I donāt mind I read it all
@SageEminetJunky51 first and foremost welcome to Overgrow
I sincerely appreciate the offer especially being it was your first post thatās the spirit of OG I love to see
But I found some NL and the community is making some more keep up the good intentions we see you
Looks skunky to me, i have island sweet skunk looks pretty damn close
