1st grow ever/ 2nd run

So should I leave it in it’s forever home that pot I just transplanted it into like 8 hrs ago or so or should I put it into a smaller cup like Paps was suggesting

It may make it

If you transfer into a solo cup don’t water it leave it I dry soil

It may come around

But too much handling causes stress

You need to learn to water for the size of the plant not the size of the pot

Stop spraying it every day

That’s a hard one because transplanting is a shocking event. Definitely hard to water a big pot. If it shows any signs of turning around I would potentially leave it. If it appears to be struggling with no good turnaround potentially then transplant it quickly. Don’t wanna lose it. Cheers !!!

Pretty sure this one gonna die oh an there was a whole dug into my soil wonder if my daughter rat pissed in my soil ???

These days, I only grow mothers in coco. But I only transplant when they significantly larger. So I agree with that @Papalag . Anytime you transplant is a shocking event. But it is difficult big pots small plants. I probably overwater more in that situation as well easy to do. Definitely a drastic result … probably from the early transplanting. Cheers !!!

I plant that size has very little root development so it should remain in a small pot till it out grows it

Good luck :four_leaf_clover:

What ever you do
Be gentle with it

Also less is more the biggest problem for new growers is watering
Alway let the plant dry out
And for a seedling like this size very little water is plenty

Pop more, let them overgrow the substrate there in. Seeds will be the least of your worries ( OG makes that a non issue)… Seeds are all little experiences on your way to be coming the gardener you want to be !!! Cheers @Papalag @Cummings420

I agree if you are trying and learning this phase will pass and knowledge will come. Doesn’t matter if you have a good run or not. You walk away learning something out of it. You take that to your next grow. Don’t ever be bummed because you lost a couple of plants or a couple seeds. It’s all part of the process and must happen to gain the knowledge !!!

I have one friend… He thought it was going to be easy to follow along with a lot of us. We dialed Him in. His first grow was very successful but he was paying attention and had a lot of help around every day. The subsequent grows second third … Not so good and various problems along the way. He has not had a harvest since that first grow. That has been very challenging, but his first garden has kept him in weed all along the rest of his struggles. I’m pretty sure number four is going to be a good pull !!! Keep your head up you have something good to smoke and you can pop some more seeds !!! Cheers !!!

To be honest, I like to pop seeds in rockwool these days. Small seed starter rockwool cubes. I just soak them in water that’s 5.8 for an hour or so. Drain the water shake them 2 or 3 times. I put the seed directly into the hole. Slightly fold over a little bit of the top fluffy edges of the rock roll cube to block out light. I place those directly in my clone chamber. Pretty much hands off until it sprouts. That is the reason why I like to go with that particular set up. And it’s easy to gauge water weight on rockwool cubes. Most of the time you don’t water until after, it’s sprouted with this method. Cheers !!!

Don’t forget just cause you start with Rockwool cubes does not mean you cannot run Coco or any sort of mix. Those are just starter cubes. They work well with other mediums for transplanting later on. Most clones you get online, etc. will come in rockwool. Cheers !!!
