Itā€™s been in the freezer for a couple of hours Iā€™m gonna go see if I can micro plane it

Was that fresh frozen or was that dried bud how much did you use @HolyAngel

That was dried bud. I shucked the whole skunk tangerine into the washer, along with a couple gallon bags of trim and at least another ounce of random flower i had been sitting on. Thing was half full before I added any water but I didnā€™t weigh any of the herb. Had to be around 3/4 of a pound tho dry. Did it all outside in 16 degree weather.

what do you do after you microplane it? back in the freezer or let it sit out? are you going to press it?

never done it but i think at that point u can press it or re freeze it from reading joes thread lol.

im just sitting here picturing jet about to rage smash his washer until he sees no plug in

oh my well shit can happen, man. Iā€™ve done pulls where the hash that came out wasā€¦ hidden from sight. To never be seen again!

This was a kilo of fresh buds. Enough to make a grown man cry!

So youā€™re gonna leave us hanging on that tidbit?
Please expound @JoeCrowe . How can this be?

Plant had little useless trichome caps like 65 microns. The ulllltimate haul was in the sucky 73 micron.

There was the infested 73 hash. Now that shit is worth throwing really hard at the pavement! It didnā€™t even melt.

When you look at the measurements, you can see why it fails. hah hah I am a maniac. There are a handful of trichomes that get caught in the bag.

I gather that again, even this situation did not warrant anything but 220 and 90 correct?

It was pure trash and I tossed it out. No bags except trash bags

Lol. Ok. Understood.

Iā€™ve been lurking on your threads a bit. Quite impressive bit of knowledge youā€™re laying down.
Thanks!

hah hah yah the thing is the bestā€¦mmmm collects in the 90 sack. IF the plant isnā€™t pumping hard into that bag, then itā€™s not going to cut the mustard. Iā€™m going to do a run where the trichome caps are 180 in diameter that will be wild.

Seems 180um would be optimal. Any input on what influences size?

That part and everything about the trichome is genetic. Thatā€™s how I can pull huge hauls from this specific plant Iā€™ve been cloning for like 8 years.

yes I was able to micro plane it like always I will micro plane it onto parchment put it in a pizza box and stick it in the freezer for a week or more.

Iā€™ve got a first blind date today a little bit later this afternoon Iā€™ve got 1 million things to do before then Iā€™ll post up a picture when I get caught up

@HolyAngel

I do not use the work bag in the machine just the raw bud yes it makes a mess but itā€™s a simple cleanup when Iā€™m done with the polls Iā€™ll pull all the crap out with my hands and stick it in the 160 bag and ring it out over the 90 bag.

I take the thing outside flip it upside down and garden hose it clean in about two minutes then I put it up

Ah thatā€™s nice. no garden hose here when itā€™s 16 degrees outside :joy:

Had to do it in the kitchen at the end and was a big pita. Never doing it like that ever again.

Iā€™ll either get a mesh bag to put it all in, or Iā€™ll just dry ice sift the lot of it and run the sift through the ice water and bags to clean it.
