North of the Colville Indian Reservation

The Okanagan

flowering time can be extremely long on these. Panama from snowhigh goes 20 to 24 weeks

Wish I could pop these just to see what happens, but it would be a true waste of genetics

Iā€™m waiting for the Panama seeds now for a preservation. If they dont show, (and they will I think)Iā€™d be interested in those old beans for a preservationā€¦

Why is that? You can do itā€¦

someone had a pack of thug pug peanut butter breath going for $175 last monthā€¦

I know Master Thai had Tahoe OG but not sure who got it.

Tracking shows they arrived in Tulsa this morning at 2:34am. That means theyā€™ve been sitting in a box in Tulsa for 3 weeks. But the shit I ordered on Amazon yesterday will be here tomorrow. Motherfucker! :vulcan_salute:

Better stuck there than here I suppose. Iā€™m happy to hear they arenā€™t lost. Iā€™m awfully excited about them. Realistically they wonā€™t be speouted until after the New Year, which seems a perfect way to kick in a new year.

no doubt that the packages will arrive before the status is updated.

been seeing that as the norm with USPS most of the yearā€¦

Well, they left Tulsa yesterday, so thatā€™s something. :+1::+1::+1:

Still nothing on the Dalat and Blood Klot seeds, but theyā€™re only 3 days overdue, so theyā€™re practically on time.

My wife sent a package downstate to her sister. It went from our place to Albany, which, although the wrong direction, probably a major mailport. From there it ended up in White Plains, approximately 15 minutes from my wifeā€™s sisterā€™s house. The following day it was in South Dakota. Yes you read that right, South Dakota. Somebody is smoking the good shit! Iā€™m so excited to grow Panama. Iā€™ve thought about it for so long, I know it will show. Iā€™ve pictured those thorns on the male plants. Iā€™ve seen red buds in my mindā€¦and thousands of seeds!

Love this thread! I have a few Mexican, columbian and African seeds from snowhigh. What do you guys do for vegging these cultivars indoor? I now root mass is important, but 8ft ceilings donā€™t seem tall enough.

The pure sativas, in my experience were very easy to tame. First three weeks I vegged them in 20ounce beer cups. Then flip to flower and transplant into 1/2 gallon. keep them in this size until growth slows, then one/ two gallon until stretch is nearly over, then finish size pots, 3 gallon or 5 gallon. I grew Kullu, Durban, Malawi and Cabeca de Negro in this manner. All finished under 3 feet, with a two foot average size. My Method actually worked a little bit too well in some instances. The Malawi flowered 14/15 weeks and stayed under 2 feet. The Kullu flowered 15/16 weeks and stayed under 3 feet. The Cabeca and Durban ended up around 2 or 2 1/2 feet. Basically, you only transplant when growth slows or the plants show in some other manner that they really need a transplant. Donā€™t jump up two or three pot sizes. Transplant into the next size that they make. If you put them in a large container before the stretch is finished or nearly finished, they can get massive.

Thanks for the tips! My friend whom I will most likely do this project with is strongly against re-potting after flower. But I donā€™t think he has grown pure sativas before.

Thatā€™s exactly the way John explained it to me. You control the size by repotting, but you need to give the roots time to use up all the soil first, so youā€™ve got a solid root mass.

I have an idea about that. I think ReikoX is the one who did this, but he made custom sized fabric pots to keep mother plants in. I think he did pint, and quart sized. They donā€™t get root bound so thereā€™s no need to trim the root ball, and repot all the time, and you can make them in any size you want.

I think that same idea would make what weā€™re talking abut easier with less risk of damaging the plant. Start them off in a pint, give 'em however much veg time needed, move them to a quart when theyā€™re flipped, and a 2 gal when the stretch is done. I donā€™t think youā€™d have to handle them as much, and the roots will fill that bag in no time.

I have a sewing machine, but unfortunately, I donā€™t know how to use it. My sister-in-law does though, and sheā€™s gonna help me get it set up. :vulcan_salute:
