A couple weeks at the lake with Doug

It’s the slipperiness, just nope. Already blew 2 tendons in 1 knee.

When I was young, I hopped a fence and landed on 1 knee. Next day it swelled up like a softball, bursitis infection! It was brutal, couldn’t even bend my leg.

Thank you @DougDawson aka the Barefoot master seed man! I’ll have to check those out. Always love a good book!

I thought I could learn karate when I was a senior in highschool. Did a roundhouse kick warming up and crack, sounded like a .22 being shot off. That was my medial and lateral meniscus snapping

Damn! I dont think I even know what those are, but my knee is killing me just thinking about it :grimacing:

I fractured my femur when I was a kid, it was at Niagara Falls. Ruined the trip for everybody

The front of your knee, and the inner side of the front. It hurt so damn bad! Then my sifu said it was just a pulled muscle and had me walk home 8 blocks…

Dude that had to suck! The only time I went was my honeymoon, we went the week that school started everywhere and it was a ghost town. Walked straight in on all the attractions, got our room upgraded to like the 20th floor overlooking the falls, threw a disc golf disc into the falls… Pretty freaking awesome. Oh I miss the good times of being married, and then I remember how much getting divorced sucked. I’ll just stick with my wonderful girlfriend

I was thankful all I ever did was broke my back but than blew out my right knee a few years ago coming off a jetski on its trailer. Wheel beike and I step down hard the wrong way. I heard a pop and than another and oddly didnt hurt at all. Than it swelled up like a softball and hant been 100% since. As of a year ago I can get down on my knees and sit again so could be worse.

Well dam, what’s with the weather. Sky just opened up and another severe thunderstorm warning popped up. Rained all last week so I took a second week off without pay so we could get some decent weather. The weather showed 27 deg and sunny all week. Now…

A couple weeks up here is not near as entertaining as I figured it would be for you all.

Hang on, let me check the metric to American conversion. Oh damn, it was hot and now it’s about to be cold! That’s worse than Michigan

Doug did you figure out the pressure issue?

That storm just rolled through Toronto. We had 5 minutes of hail - up to 1" balls. I am glad I didn’t grow outdoors this year.

No. Decided to put it aside for now. Got the pressure dialed down to 40/20 and its working perfectly so I will get back to it. It’s clearly not the line or the valve as it holds fine at current setting. Got to be the tank or pump, more likely the tank. I will revisit it when I am less annoyed by it. Main thing is the water is on and has plenty of pressure to shower
