I know about 8 others in close proximity to me who grow as well as PEI, I keep telling them to join up here but they are shy.
There is another guy on here, I got to join, Trippy knows him as well, hes in Truro about 10 minutes from Trippy, he just posted once and disappeared. I will have to get hold of him on messenger see what he is up to.

I think I read Nova Scotian’s, smoke more weed per percentage of population, than any other province lol. I would’nt surprise me if it went for home grows as well.

So then I wonder if any of us have, or have access to, R2 genetics.
I love the strain, its afaik a local landrace and info is either inaccurate or incomplete.
Fast grower, fast finisher, great for our climate. Looks like shit but hits like a truck. We used to put handfuls of these outside back in the early 2000s and come back in the fall to almost all female plants.
I assume why its not prolific is because its difficult to pollinate and viable males are rare.
I’ve put feelers out locally and online for a while but it seems like its being lost to time. Only see bud from it every now and then, but that tells me its still around.

Took down another GDP it was pretty much dead on its stalk lol. It didn’t take much trimming for the mulch trim, 90% of the fans were very crispy and just broke up. The buds gained some size this week though so it was worth the waiting, I think I may get some where around 6 ounces of it dry, it might surprise me, as it has a couple of nice colas on it.
Pre trimming, I think I need a new camera the flash doesn’t want to work dammit
After trimming facing inside so I can have a bit of light on the subject. These big colas were hanging down like this, between the pots and I didn’t realize they were there, otherwise I would have staked them up, doesn’t seem to have done them any harm though 
On the floor, my foot is 12.5 inches long and 4.75 wide across the ball of my foot, I should call them flippers really lol.
I will take the other one down on Sunday give them a couple of days between them so I don’t have to trim them both up on the same day. That’s the plan anyway, as the next one looks a bit bigger, but looks can be deceiving.

Nice looking work man. I always found if you let them dry out in the pot it seems to create more tric and resin production. You see any difference?

Yeah they did seem a lot more stickier than usual, I had to go and put some talc on my hands after handling them because the sticky wasn’t stopping, and it was getting annoying lol. I can still smell the citrus pine of it, on my hands 
The small one will be ready for its final trim and jar /or bag depending on the humidity here, is it up and down like a whores draws, where are you? We seem to have our own little micro climate here, drive 5 miles down the road and it can be totally different.

Pink pistils on the fam? Did you get the rose pheno? Everybody’s gonna be hunting through there’s. Beautiful color with a rose scent. Gorgeous man. Too bad you can spray that one for seed. Beautiful work.

Bit of a fuck up this week, after the squirrel knocked my timer off the shelf, I had to re set a couple of buttons on it. When I came out to them Monday morning at 9.45 am, and the light was on when it shouldn’t have been.
Thought that was sorted, but I have been looking at the plants all week and thinking the bud development has stopped, nothing was getting bigger and the plants were yellowing a bit.
Normally I go and shut my work shop up about 30 minutes before lights out at 10 pm. Fell asleep last night in front of the TV and woke about midnight, so went out to lock up the work shop and the friggin lights are still on.
Checked the timer all the buttons were where they should be, but I never checked the timer, on off switch on Monday 
it has been off the timer, since Sunday when the fucking squirrel knocked it off the shelf, and running 24/7 
I hope they are not all fucked up, wouldn’t surprise me if they hermie, or have started to re veg. 
We will see I suppose 
shit happens, 
I am buying a digital timer, not going through this crap again ffs.

good looking plants you have there.that sucks about your light , had that happen once myself with an electronic timer when the power went out it reverted back to 24\7.might be coming down your way on tues next week. will you be around?

I believe so. Seems like everybody’s finding one. I’m on a hunt. This won’t end good for me lol. I’m gonna pop 10 of em and never find it. Thats my luck. Na I’ll just look at pics of yours. Luck sum gun! That’s what’s up.That’s what makes me love this. That’s cool. I gotta make some hormone in case I do find one. I demand a full smoke report and cured buds (Pics)!

Oh man, brotha. That’s some harsh shit. Are they those white timers with the red button? If so, they are so hard to tell if on or not. Only way to really tell is if you click it on and off. I use those ones and when it comes to flower time I check them quite a bit because I had a similar situation happen. Fingers crossed for ya man. Didgital is the way to go. I like the ones I just recently saw, with a battery. When the power goes out, you don’t have to reset it.
